What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

We’re still camping and I carried my Bigfoot SAK today.

Foggy beach day and another hike in the woods.

No actual Bigfoot sightings, but we did see some elk...

...and something almost as elusive as Bigfoot...

Two absolute beauties, Jack. 🤠:thumbsup:

My Two for Twosday...
Thanks buddy, another great working pair there :) :thumbsup:
Starting my work day a couple hours later than usual, had time to photo todays carry minutes ago.
Now it's time for me to get out there and try and accomplish something productive today. :)

Nice pic :cool: :thumbsup:
You have picked a fabulous pair of Ebony covered beauties for your Tuesday totes, they look super cool together! :cool: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

These two beauties just flew into my mail from Sheffield, England, care of Jack Black Jack Black ! The Bagpipe Ebony covering the Lambsfoot is beautiful and I'm a huge fan of the Scout pattern (my first Sheffield version!) I'm overwhelmed; thank you Jack!!! 😁 :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks a lot JJ, I'm glad my package made it OK :) :thumbsup:

The Jack has a new friend, this SAK Bantam arrived yesterday. So slim and snappy, opened a few cold ones last night. 😉👍View attachment 1602189
Congrats on the new Vic Bantam, Todd! :thumbsup::cool: I'm a huge fan of those Alox SAKs.

The George Wostenholm Swayback Lambsfoot is new and well exceeds expectation. The rosewood covers are much nicer than I was able to capture. Strong pull and snappy, I’m spending some time, oiled the joint and working it in.

Redmeadow gets the peach.

Congrats on the new lambsfoot; the rosewood covers are incredible! :cool::thumbsup:

Indeed, I was thinking the same. Tbh I had to throw the Congress into the photo for good measure, this is a knife forum after all. Needed an excuse to post all that Viking stuff 😊

Hypnotic horn on that lambsfoot, Jim! 😲:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Grabbed these two Sheffield slicers for today. :)
Enthralling english knives, JJ! :cool::thumbsup:

These today : I only carry Stag on days that end with a " Y "

Stunning stag (and slips), Harry! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Barlow and a Stockman for Sunday !

That Camillus stockman is a showpiece, Steve! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Hope to see you in the Guardians thread :) :thumbsup:

Wishing everyone a good week :thumbsup: Starting mine with my Bagpipe Ebony Lambsfoot SFO, and a Metal Monday 1955 Burma Knife from J.H. Thompson.

No-nonsense pair, Jack! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Charlie Lamb and "Flipper Bait" for Micarta Monday
This picture really demonstrates the difference between a Lambsfoot and a Sheepsfoot
Sheep and Lamb together: striking intergenerational ovine pair, John! :thumbsup:;):thumbsup:

Many thanks Gary :) I know the feeling :rolleyes: The Remington Jack was a kind gift, and I've had it a while, but only carried it a few times :) I really like small Jacks like that, but it's a bit of a treasure :) :thumbsup:
Thanks for the additional info on your Remington jack, Jack. :cool:🤓

Happy Monday.
Splendid bone stag sowbelly, Mike! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: I'm hoping to pick out a nice bone stag example when we go on vacation in a couple of weeks and drive past a Case Master Dealer; not committed to a particular pattern, just want to find some nice bone stag. ;)

Beautiful morning here, hope it is there.
Look at the blade variety in that threesome! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

I just like to show off, with my fancy words and such. :p

I think I'll carry a couple of old pearls today.

Thanks for casting your pearls before us Porch swine! 🤓:thumbsup::cool:

Superior stag duo, José! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Happy Monday all. Going on a diet and trying to eat more fruit...so naturally I grabbed the fruit knife.
OmYekgH.jpg
Amazing acrylic! :cool::thumbsup: Since I started accumulating knives, I've been eating FAR more fresh vegetables and fruit than I did prior to having lots of knives I wanted to try out.😁:thumbsup:

For sure. We went on a hike this morning and my son said it was so cool he would remember it for a long time.
:cool::thumbsup::cool:

I'm starting out the week with this abalone sowbelly and a WWII Navy jack. :)
Dazzling duo that dreams are made of, JJ! 😲:cool::cool:

All the ladies loved the lady’s fancy pearl knife.

The first Case Sodbuster I got was the original. When I got around to getting a jr, I was shocked at how small it felt. And yes, in profile, it is more rounded. But like Ed said, it still works.
By the way, my jr was won on the auction site for $5.00. I guess nobody wanted it because it had Al Gore 2000 on the scale along with his head.:D
Some 400 grit sandpaper erased ‘ol Albert.
Sounds like a good deal on that SBJr, Jeff! :thumbsup:;)

Equal end and whittler again for me today. Smooth yellow and jigged green bones.

Enjoying your whittler/equal-end theme, Greg; that Winchester moose is golden! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

...
Great to see Charlie @waynorth posting again :) Thought I'd pair my 2018 Guardians Ebony Lambsfoot with my ebony TC, the first of many knives Charlie has gifted me over the years, and still very much a favourite :) Have a good day everyone :thumbsup:

I hope you find a good deal at the Case dealer! What fun to actually pick out a knife in person, like days of yore.

Not picked out in person at a Case Master Dealer, but these are being used today~ 7254 in SS, and 2031.3B31EC4C-71A3-445B-B432-E082E056BEED.jpeg1A99BAC4-3A2F-4B99-AF11-0964CEB8028E.jpeg
