Great lineup Gary, the SAK electrician alox is on my list. The Case dealer at Lake of the Ozarks carries SAKs also.

Thanks for the compliment, Todd. Visiting a brick-and-mortar knife store that stocks both Case and SAKs would be a dream come true for me!
Congrats of that fine ebony lambsfoot and the "Big D", Dennis!
...
It's a great little knife Gary
That's a cool Rope Knife

...
Stag for me again

...
I appreciate your opinions, Jack.
That stag pair, HHB & Biscuit, is certainly easy on the eyes!
Thanks for your comment, José. Here's a photo of the 3-knife set from Cannon; I like them a lot also:
As long as they don't
just kinda waste my precious time!
IMHO, best break-up song ever. Notable pair of lambsfoots flanking your timer!
Toured the Tetons yesterday...
SAK is still serving me well...
Amazing photo to a flatlander like me!
And I admire your black Cadet! I may have to get one to pair with my black Pioneer.
Thanks Gary. Couldn’t agree more about different memories. When we go on a beach vacation my wife remembers the sand between her toes, and I remember all the sand in my suburban!

...
It’s the Jack and my only black SAK for John today, but if the PO is to be believed, my black cadet is out for delivery today.

Congrats on the incoming black Cadet!
David and Goliath, but these two are on friendly terms.
WOW! What wood!
I really like this little Joker! I have a couple in horn and another in stag, but no wood (so far).
Enjoyed this combo yesterday, so repeating today
I'll repeat my admiration and envy for that pair, Mike!
These two today.
Welcome back to you and your signature fixed/scout pairs, Tom!
I'm toting two wood covered Lambsfoot knives today, Bagpipe Ebony from
@Jack Black and Rosewood.
That's a handsome "box" you've put your ram's head pin into, JJ!
Busy working, so haven’t put any thought into changing the status quo.

Is your lambsfoot stainless or carbon steel? It's a handsome knife, regardless!
On this fine wooden Wednesday, I have with me the ever-faithful 23 in mesquite, and the mellow 29 whittler in osage.... a couple of fine Texas woods....
That Texas Two-Wood, mesquite and osage orange, must have you dancing!
Thanks for your kind words on the Schrade. It’s really a miracle that I still have it and that it’s in that condition; I carried it through elementary, middle, and high school.

I like the stag Buck Canoe... very handsome

Thanks, John. I was very fortunate to stumble across that stag canoe when I wasn't even aware of its existence, and quite sure I managed to order the last one the low-volume online dealer had!
Visited the train museum in North Platte Nebraska...
Tomorrow we will be in Omaha and moving my son into his apartment.
Cool photo, John, but I'm curious about what I'm actually seeing! Is it a pic of your Cadet on a postcard? Or, since it looks sort of like the train is behind a window screen, did you somehow attach your knife to a hotel window screen to get the pic? Or is a composite of separate shots of train and of Cadet?
Thank you Todd, much appreciated.

I've always felt most woods need some protection from the elements, except for a few of the denser/naturally oily ones.
Thanks, Gary. The equal end/whittler combo gives me a good assortment of blades although one or the other carried alone would suffice for most of my needs, but variety and a couple knives to fiddle with each day brings me joy.

Another whittler went in the pocket today, along with a Barlow. Rosewood and winter bottom bone.

Thanks for the explanation, Greg; I always appreciate hearing folks' rationales for aspects of their knife experiences!
Plenty of variety in that specific pair whose pic you posted!
Thanks GT! If I could shake your hand through this screen I would surely do it!
Jon, I've never been much of a handshake guy, and probably have shaken hands with fewer than a dozen people since March 2020. But we can at least do this:

I'm one knifenut that loves trains, John. The wife and I took a cross country trip a few years ago. Syracuse to Chicago, Chicago to Albuquerque, Albuquerque to LA, up to San Francisco and then home via a more northern route. I'd do it again in a minute!
I love the high speed rails in Europe too. What a civilized way to travel. If I've got the time, and I can get somewhere via train I'd never fly again.
When I visited my daughter who was living in Spain at the time, we took the AVE train from Madrid to Valencia. It was interesting that there was a little speedometer readout in the front of our traincar, and we cruised along at 300 kph (about 185 mph) much of the trip! I had no sensation of such "breakneck speed" as we rode along though. I rode a lot of buses, trains (conventional, high speed, and subway), and some taxis on that trip, and generally enjoyed the transportation. The main exception was the Madrid Metro subway that was almost always VERY crowded.
Last few weeks since I've been here, I have rotated cutter every week-ish... the most carried of them is probably these two.
Welcome back to you and your fine pair of knives!
I carry today this Portuguese knife of Verissimo-Miranda do Douro in stag.
...
Very appealing knife, José!
Northwoods Presidential today.

Distinguished, dignified knife!
I have this Texas jack keeping me company today.
Charismatic cutter! Did you enhance the original dye job on the bone?
