Thank you!Just slapped it together, huh? That's a very nice looking knife.... fer a rookie, of course.....
actually, it's borderline greatness....![]()
I see what you did there.
Got to be the best Case Amber Bone scales I have seen! Nice Knife. OH
Thank you both! I did enhance the original scales with some Fiebing’s mohagany dye. Thanks for the compliment, Todd. Visiting a brick-and-mortar knife store that stocks both Case and SAKs would be a dream come true for me!
Congrats of that fine ebony lambsfoot and the "Big D", Dennis!
I appreciate your opinions, Jack.
That stag pair, HHB & Biscuit, is certainly easy on the eyes!
Thanks for your comment, José. Here's a photo of the 3-knife set from Cannon; I like them a lot also:

IMHO, best break-up song ever. Notable pair of lambsfoots flanking your timer!
Amazing photo to a flatlander like me!
And I admire your black Cadet! I may have to get one to pair with my black Pioneer.

Congrats on the incoming black Cadet!
WOW! What wood!
I really like this little Joker! I have a couple in horn and another in stag, but no wood (so far).
I'll repeat my admiration and envy for that pair, Mike!
Welcome back to you and your signature fixed/scout pairs, Tom!
That's a handsome "box" you've put your ram's head pin into, JJ!
Is your lambsfoot stainless or carbon steel? It's a handsome knife, regardless!
That Texas Two-Wood, mesquite and osage orange, must have you dancing!
Thanks, John. I was very fortunate to stumble across that stag canoe when I wasn't even aware of its existence, and quite sure I managed to order the last one the low-volume online dealer had!
Cool photo, John, but I'm curious about what I'm actually seeing! Is it a pic of your Cadet on a postcard? Or, since it looks sort of like the train is behind a window screen, did you somehow attach your knife to a hotel window screen to get the pic? Or is a composite of separate shots of train and of Cadet?
Thanks for the explanation, Greg; I always appreciate hearing folks' rationales for aspects of their knife experiences!
Plenty of variety in that specific pair whose pic you posted!
Jon, I've never been much of a handshake guy, and probably have shaken hands with fewer than a dozen people since March 2020. But we can at least do this:
When I visited my daughter who was living in Spain at the time, we took the AVE train from Madrid to Valencia. It was interesting that there was a little speedometer readout in the front of our traincar, and we cruised along at 300 kph (about 185 mph) much of the trip! I had no sensation of such "breakneck speed" as we rode along though. I rode a lot of buses, trains (conventional, high speed, and subway), and some taxis on that trip, and generally enjoyed the transportation. The main exception was the Madrid Metro subway that was almost always VERY crowded.
Welcome back to you and your fine pair of knives!
Very appealing knife, José!
Distinguished, dignified knife!
Charismatic cutter! Did you enhance the original dye job on the bone?
