Sorry for the workshop pic again, but when I come home from work, it´s almost dark. And when I leave the house, it´s still dark ;)

Andi, thought about you Saturday. I ran across a 3 set of what I thought were the Otto "Anchor" knives for $20, nice box and all, same as the Ebony Wharncliffe and got all excited. Well, not quite, they were a cheap china copy of the same. Of well, the hunt continues on this side of the pond.

As for what I was carrying, the #66 made it's way back after the week long different-knife-for-a-day hiatus. It worked out well, but the #66 has a home for now.

Really? Anchor knife copies - that´s no good. I order them directly from the maker, just being sure not getting anything copied or whatever. But that´s hard - and for the price you get the Original. I hope you can find an Ankermesser over there in the US. They were/are made by Otter, Lütter & Cie (Bertram / Löwenmesser) and some other makers make them too.

The GEC #66 is my all-time-favorite when it comes up an choice for EDC... imo (!!) just the perfect size and a great feel next to a wonderful W&T. :)

Been looking for one of these (6205R)...finally got one in my pocket! Would like an older one but a 1970 will do just fine!

Kutmasterjpg_zpse4fa753e.jpg

Carrying this little Kutmaster I picked up over the weekend. I’m pretty tickled with it – it’s hardly any thicker than the single spring penknives I usually carry around the office.

Took a quick before work stroll to check for animal sign on top of the fresh snow.
My 8OT accompanied me, as it has every day since last June.

Great pic Cooper. I had a feeling you would like that knife. It looks great.

Thanks scruffuk! I like this one every bit as well as my 53 three blade and I have yet to use the nail pull on the Wharncliffe; pinch opens just fine for me and from either side!
