Thank you, Jeff. :)
My Wife and Son were tired of me saying, "Dang! I really like this knife!" 🤣

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... and that KA BAR is a beauty. 🤠

That’s nice to hear, John. I appreciate it!
Our wives and family may roll their eyes sometimes, but they know our hobby keeps us out of trouble. Ok... usually.

My #2 son, his wife, and their son had returned from Scotland, and were moving to Colorado where he was opening his company’s first American branch. I rented the biggest Uhaul trailer our Rav4 could tow, and we set off in the dead of winter. Before we even got out of Illinois, we hit black ice on I80. The kind of driving where I go slow and easy. I let the truckers go on by, and sure enough, passed them piled up off the road. Hairy trip.
So, I had been watching the Kabar on the auction site for a week at least. At one truck stop in Nebraska, in a freezing blizzard, I did my usual walk around, and discovered the trailer lights were not working. We ended up buying a set of magnetic battery powered tail lights in the truck stop, and while walking inside, I snuck a quick look at my phone and realized the auction had less than a minute to go. So I will always remember how I got the Kabar....

That's a great story. 🤠

I'd take the boys camping when they were younger, and while they were playing Pokemon I was winning auctions on ebay.

I love Old Pal Cutlery knives, they weren't afraid to put big fat blades on everything. 🤠
I share your appreciation for the Pal Cut blades. I only have two of their knives but both are good ones.
How many are in your watch list now? ;)
Just one. :) Plus a 47 stockman and a Schrade 881Y, which got my attention from pics here by enablers like you and a few others.😆
I'm trying not to buy anymore knives, have to many now that I need to thin out first. Problem with that is I dislike selling and dealing with
pay pal transactions and having time to package items and get to the post office during their hours.

I was awakened this morning by a heck of a racket and a lot of mooing. Looked out the window and there was a cowboy on his horse in my driveway driving cattle down my road. They are bringing the cattle down off the Modoc National Forest early this year because there isn't any water on the forest because of the drought. So they're putting them on a ranch about 3-miles down my road. Also to get the cows out of the forest to get them out of the way of wildland fires. Hundreds of cattle have been lost to fires this year in Northern California. Note the orange tint of the picture. It's because the sun is shining through the smoke from the fires.

So, I ran into the house and got my Case CV 3375 Large Stockman. A handy knife to have when they're driving cattle in front of your house.

Who Knows !!!!!! I might need a Spey blade before the day is over.
