I think that was from The Sound of Music…
That’s a handsome yeller Case, John.
One of the great things about GEC is that quality of the Tidioutes knives isn’t any lower than that of the Northfields, they just don’t have the fancy extras (polished blades, lined bolsters, stag, etc.). That’s why I love the Farm & Field line — GEC quality at half the price*!

Nice smallmouth!![]()
Those F&F #62’s really surprised me. I didn’t really expect to like a knife with three small wharncliffe blades, but for certain tasks I actually like it a lot! (It’s an excellent Christmas morning knife.)
No change for me today (and no new photo; this one’s from a couple months ago when I first got it).

You did four somersaults in the air holy cowsSadly, no catfish dinner tonight, unless I raid the freezer. But the smallmouth were there!
Sorry, no knife in the photo!
I was kind of hurrying to release this guy~ long fight on light line, including four somersaults in the air trying to shake the hook.View attachment 1623954

Thanks John. A Jack and SAK is becoming a favorite combo.Thank you, Todd.
I love how slim it is and the yella color makes me smile.
Handy Dandy pair, Todd.
I really like synthetic ebony for covers.
Just this week bought Rapid river Yooper folding knife. Really like the size. I bought one with clip, that I am carrying in sheath. I usually carry Buck 112 on belt, or 112 slim in pocket. I like the size on belt better than 112. Though based on price, I am still having trouble carrying the Rapid River.Small (3" closed), Rapid River lockback. Tiny piece of whitetail stag for Saturday

I am not in the evac boat, but I live in Reno and visibility is probably measured in feet at this point because of the smoke. Wind brought in a lot more from Dixie today. My four month old son is having a lot of problems with breathing because of it. Stay safe.Between Sacramento and Tahoe. Caldor Fire
Sorry to hear about your son Murdamock. It’s so scary when your child has trouble breathing. Have in there.I am not in the evac boat, but I live in Reno and visibility is probably measured in feet at this point because of the smoke. Wind brought in a lot more from Dixie today. It’s a great looking knife Jon, I doubt anyone around here will mind seeing it, I know I won’t. Really enjoying the baseball cards also.View attachment 1624474
It might be Stagurday, but I can’t help but carrying this one. I’ll probably be carrying it for a while.
