Felt like switching to the Ebony Lamb today... a great gift from my friend Modoc ED Modoc ED
I don't carry this one as much as my Usual Lamb because it's so pretty and I want to keep it that way.
Nice to see that ebony
I have no idea what my wife and I are going to do on our first “empty nester” weekend. Whatever it is I be carrying Jack and blue. Stay safe out there everyone! 😊👍View attachment 1624500

Carrying this craftsman today. Getting prepared for hurricane Henri which is supposed to hit my area pretty hard. Looks like it may be a long week ahead. Have a great and safe weekend.

Besides a freshly sharpened and fueled chainsaw, I cannot think of a better thing to have on hand than a good ‘ol TL-29.
Stay safe, Dave

“Sure is quiet out there...”

“Yeah. Too quiet.”

Even though she turns 29 next month, our daughter will live never be able to live on her own, So we’ll never be empty nesters.
The plan is for her to live with us forever or until they cart us off ~ whichever comes first. And that’s ok with me. She’s fun to have around, and a real blessing.

We have a trust set up for her that designates her brother will become her guardian if something happens to us.

I expect not long after you get used to being on your own, you’ll be begging him to bring your grand kids over.

I enjoy your flower shots, Joel.
It’s nice to see so many 71s being used. I used mine this morning to cut some dill and basil among other things to take to Mom.
But I switched to a Case Whittler to attend a memorial. Being well into their ‘80s, my parents are losing too many good friends. :(

Third one in a month ~ all, including my aunt, passed last year (not of the C-19, just oldness, so the memorials had to be postponed.

Thanks Jeff. One of the reasons I like this thread is I get to see all these different knives and here their stories. I started obtaining some tl-29 or electrician knives after seeing alot of yours. Also the donor you gave me came out pretty good and is one of my favorites.
