What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Got some work to do in the garden today, so I thought I'd arm myself appropriately! :eek: ;) :thumbsup:

Jack, does "forewarned is forearmed" imply that "four-armed is four-warned"?? o_O:rolleyes:🤓

One for Whittler Wednesday, and two for Woodnesday.

Sweet little canoe! :cool::cool::thumbsup:
I have dozens of canoes in a variety of brands and sizes, but I still haven't picked up a Case baby butterbean; that should probably go high on my get-one-soon list. 🤓

Great to see that legendary legume and its friends! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

The European Union in action: a Portuguese man showing off his German and French knives! 🤓:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Commendable Craftsman, Jer! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

I carried my Case swayback jack today. I was in the office all day and didn’t use it, but still liked having it in my pocket just in case.

So this week and next, I plan to post some of those knives in this thread, starting with some new Rough Ryders I ordered that arrived in late July.
Here's a RR "artisan wood" canoe that I think looks quite attractive. No idea what kind of wood is used for the covers.

RR moose pattern featuring Zorro:

Carbon steel RR Wharncliffe trapper with Wharncliffe/spey blade combo (I really like substituting the Wharncliffe blade for the clip blade instead of for the spey):

RR Tobacco Road sowbelly stockman, with covers and blade combo I really like, but the "middle" blade seems over-krinked:

Special selection of beautiful knives, Gary.👍👍;)

Case at work again this week. I decided to pull out the 15 and the Old Cross and carry them both today.

Wasn’t allowed a knife last night at the ball game :rolleyes: I watched the poor guy in front of me struggle trying to open the heavily sealed plastic packages of dip-n-dots for his Grandkids for about 15 minutes until he got them opened…

‘Twas the Tacoma Tigers last time I watched a minor league game in Tacoma. I had my Ft. Lewis PX procured camo VIC SAK with me then - all things keep changing, some for the better some for the worse. OH

Possibly bats. When you wake up with bats in your bedroom you can't be sure they haven't bitten you, so you get the shots. Only one person is known to have survived rabies.
I was expecting a series of four rabies shots. The four immunoglobin shots with the first rabies came as a surprise.

I love bats outside, ever since learning they can eat their weights in mosquitos on a good night. But inside?

Good luck with the shots, but just to be safe, check the mirror once in a while to make sure you can see your reflection.
