What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Peregrin....What is that bottom knife sir? ......FES

Hi Fes, Burt Foster calls this his "Dark Side" model. It's 6" long and forged from O-1 and 15N20 in a sort of random / ladder pattern. Sharp as a scalpel and a nice little companion.

I love this knife, the wharncliffe kind scares me cause its just so pointy lol but damn does it slice!!!

I feel bad for my ol dawg companion the 2011 :(

The Lambfoot by A. Wright I got from Jack yesterday and a Vic Penknife I got as a shot out of the bay...

The 53 got a workout yesterday cutting old quarter round off some base board. It had two layers of lino from previous remodels pushed up and caulked against it. Glad I had three blades yesterday, two of them where dull by the end of the day. Had to brake down all the cardboard at the end of the day to fit in my trailer, the main blade being slightly used during the week was still razor sharp and took out the boxes in short order.

One of these popped up in the exchange a few days ago. Foolishly, I passed it by the first time I opened the thread. The second time, I going in with the intention to buy, and it was already gone with the wind. It was a San Mai version with 2 sheaths (one being alligator) and it went for only $150!!

I thought it would have been similar, and a great companion to, my current favorite carry knife.

A pocket fixed blade by Nick Wheeler JS that has nearly exactly the same dimensions .. a hair under 6'' overall.

Opinel #7, cracking classic at a amazingly cheap price! (next to a Ben Orford crook knife) These two make a great pair for whittling and carving when I don't want to look at plastic and super steel!

and a svord peasant knife, rehandled in walnut and cleaned up by myself :) makes a great pocket knife and that blade shape makes it a good skinner, the l6 steel is also really nice stuff too.

I saw that sale also. It went pretty quick at that price. I like that Wheeler too!
