What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

You're like Henry Clay, the Great Compromiser!;)😁
Ha! Yeah, I stay pretty busy when I'm relaxing, but compromise is the key for a long marriage. Fishing and Hunting are my two alone things - and I always look forward to those days.
Superb 897UH, Bruce; that model probably gets my vote for ideal medium stockman!:cool::thumbsup:
It is a nice knife, pretty much intact, and an earlier UH with the first style stag mold handle and black handle dye. However, I hadn't used it for awhile and nearly cut myself - forgot it has very soft closing snap on that main blade and it folded on my finger when I was "drilling" a hole in a Fishbite bait. Came close to a bad cut - it will go back in my cigar box and another with stiffer locking spring will go into the tacklebox - probably a good candidate for a stainless camper knife with punch blade. OH

Today's carry, a Case 6308 Whittler.

A couple of knives exuding style and substance, Jack!:cool::cool:

Impressive double stag carry, Jack!:thumbsup::cool: (You could go totally over the top with triple stag by adding the Abbeydale Jack! ;)🤓)

Thank you for the kind words Gary, I'm going to have to do that with the Abbeydale Jack! :D
Phenomenal pair of Barlows, Jack!:thumbsup::thumbsup: IMHO, that Case you have is the best of the Barlows Case released a couple of years ago.
Thanks pal, I'm really pleased with it :)
Remember that old TV game show "Bökers Wild"? I don't know if I ever watched it myself, but I remember hearing it on the TV in another room with the host shouting "Böker ... Böker ... Böker!!!" 🤪
LOL! :D There was an English version too :D
Thanks, Jack; I kind of like the resin handles, but I'm attracted to knives at the lower end of the price range. 🤓
My standards are probably not very high, but I'm very pleased with the Böker Magnum scout!:thumbsup:
I definitely have a liking for Peasant Knives my friend, and I have a couple of Pallares knives. I like the steel, but have never warmed to the handles I'm afraid. That's good to hear about the Scout, it certainly looks very nice Gary :)
Could be. My last one is this Friday.
No hospital today!

Beautiful Red Mini Trapper... the patina really adds to the look. 🤠
Thanks John, in my opinion, red and patina just go together. 👍
My Usual Lamb and a Case Single-Blade Trapper for Trapper Tuesday

Just received my custom slip made from an Ozzie Smith glove. I love it.

I’m not really a pocket slip guy, but that is hands down the best pocket slip EVER!!! 😁

Looks like that MAM had seen some good use, José.

Was carrying this one again today while I photograph some more pieces to put into the Database .

This is about half of what is left to do then the Tedious Part starts with inputing the data .

Harry

Great photos, Harry! Thanks for reminding me that I’m also way behind on inputting knives into my spreadsheet. 😳😁

Excellent pair, Taylor!

Nice picture, it showcases the bone very well. Almost makes me want to get one!

My carry for Micarta Monday:
