What type of bacon?

Is your favorite or which would you recommend?

I use to be a cheapo and got anything that was on sale as IMO as long as its bacon (no turkey), chewy crispy, burnt, its good. SInce trying Wrights maple flavored bacon from Sams, Ive since become a Connoisseur :D I could eat 3lbs of that stuff a day no prob :pig:

So if $ is not a factor, what would you choose?

as long as its real bacon its all good to me. think cut though gotta be thick cut
 
I love the Maple flavored bacon. MMMMMM BACON. :) Didn't you bring some to KC last year? With a mini keg?

WHOA! There's a bacon Spam! As a child I used to love Spam, but now I have irritable Bowel Syndrome and it takes the expressway right through me. I wish I could have some, that must undoubtedly be the king of canned meats.
 
Any bacon is still good to me as long as I can cut it myself. Not really partial to those thin slices you commonly see.

44mag, it is indeed the king of canned meats. SLice it thin, cook extra well and WALLAH, Chef Ramsey approved.

Gary, what do you mean, "cut it myself"? Have never seen anyone cut their own bacon, I assume I gotta get a cow?
 
E, have you ever tried Australian bacon?! They save the eye fillet that we usually use for ham, and man its incredible! Nice & crispy and there's not too much fat. You can justify eating another pound or two :)

Wrights Bacon(smoked,applewood..) from Sam's is the best,around $13.5 for 3lb for thick center cut bacon,not a bad price.
 
Thick cut slab bacon 1/4 inch minimum on the grill and then served with Peter Luger sauce on top I'm in heaven
 
Favorite bacon ? Canadian back bacon of course !

Another vote for Wright Brand, but the Steakhouse Flavored and Peppered are my favorites.
