What was your first Emerson? Do you still have it?

My first emerson a Super CQC-7 paired with my latest Emerson a true grail for me an custom Super Roadhouse.

I just picked up one off the exchange (2014 I believe) and the new tip definitely increases its self-defensive capabilities. That tip will leave a gnarly triangular wound...

I found this out when I wasn't paying attention while messing with it in a reverse grip and accidently spun it on my index finger causing the blade tip to hit my upper inner forearm...Left a funky little triangle pit about 1/4" wide by 1/2" long. Luckily it wasn't as bad as it could have been and all it took was a small amount of tissue paper and 5min to stop bleeding and put a bandaid on.


but back on track



Cqc-7bw Yupp still got it. After more funds are free In the far ahead future I think I want a super 7 or super SOCFK though.
 
My first Emerson is a 2011 CQC-7V with a misprint on blade. Says CQC-7BW instead. I still have it.

And STUPIDLY returned it after a few days. I was a teenager and was worried about the blade length and didn't like the chisel grind. STUPID. STUPID. STUPID.

I received my first Emerson in early July 2014, it was a CQC-7 BW-SERRATED FULL LEFT HANDED Emerson. Still have it a a couple of more Left Handed Emersons. I want a MINI CQC-15 if they are ever available.

I cant speak to the left handed mini15 but I just got one that is right handed and I am in love with it ...Hope you get one soon!
 
Here is my first Emerson, just showed up today.

Very pleased with purchase, great craftsmanship. The knife is exactly what I expected and you guys described. Those who complain about fit n finish are some picky s.o.b.s and I am breaking the lock in as I post. lol It's my first post here on the forum. I've been lurking a while as I educated myself on various brands and knife info. Thanks for all the help.

MCS. Great 1st post! Congrats on a great 1st Emerson! On my 3rd A-100 as my buddys managed to talk me into selling the other 2 to them. Feel free to post and ask ???'s.
