  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What was your "gate-way" Becker?

BK9. I just got my first BK2 in the mail yesterday. It is a phenomenal blade. My new hiking buddy for sure.

bk9, came with 13. Then another bk9. Then an U.S.A. made 13 and a 11. And then it happened, I found a cinci kuk. Looking forward to getting a Machax.

BK2 was my first.... I never stood a chance

Beckers: it's not just a knife, it's a lifestyle.

Ah yes, remember it like it was yesterday ... Like a lot of us, stumbling along, looking for a good hard use knife ... and THEN ... saw the light (say Halleluiah !!) (lol)

Seriously - couldn't decide between the 2 or the 9 so ... did the only thing a future Beckerhead could do ... got both :D (the 13 was included back then. Yup .... those were the days )

And then some how got to here - A long and sorted trip (trust me)

And now the journey continues, into the uncharted waters of "Tweenerville" (LOL)
Wow I just noticed the fire steel. Good job on that.

BK2 (Still my go-to camping/hiking knife 50 knives later) and down the road somewhere I bought a BK11.

Lets see my first was the BK1 and for a while that was it... Then I found the BK11 and BK14 and couldn't decide which one I wanted so I ordered Both... Then after joining this form and seeing all the fuss about the BK2 I ordered one and a Bk11csm to keep it company in the mail... I think I going to make a nice leather sheath for the 11csm and use it primarily as a dressy edc, the 2 gets lots of kindling duty by the fireplace and the 14 goes to work with me every day... My other 11 and 1 i use mostly on camping trips and outdoor adventures... I love my Beckers and im looking forward to the tweeners and the machax!

The all powerful BK2. She is truly Ethan's most deadly siren. Her song has snagged a many sailors in the blade loving ocean.

I started out with just one little BK13 Remora. it's a great little knife for what it is. I use it everyday!!!!

But why not try to catch them all?

First (and only so far) was the BK7. I was looking for ruggedness and durability at a reasonable price, and got it. Next will be a new Machax, then something smaller after that (Bk2 or maybe one of the new smaller knives)

The tide is turning toward the BK7 being the 1st Becker for the masses. I've gotta do an actual count, but it's gotta be a pretty close race btw the BK2 and BK7 at this point.

I got a bk-13 in a swap, and never payed too much attention to it. Then I went to a gathering, and swapped for a Bk-1, bk-7, and bk-11 all in the same day. After that it was all down hill.

BK3, cause I wanted the biggest baddest thing I could find at that point. Turned out to be less than optimal for an outdoors knife, but the BK2 that followed it up fit like a glove. The BK3 has since been retired, or at the very least put back until after the zombie apocalypse.

Camilius BK-7 in 2003, somewhere in Iraq. Ordered it on the internet without knowing anything about Beckers. Looked like a good knife for a good price..........never had a regret.
