What watch do you wear?

I was looking at the Bertucci. How do you like it so far?

I like it well and am very happy with it for the price. The strap is great and it’s comfortable and lightweight to wear. So far it’s held up fine to being banged around and scuffed at work.

IIRC it is the manual calibre 1861 chrono

Hehe. Maybe a combination of both. The watch is comically large at around 54mm, and 7.5” wrist.

My work was always too physical to wear a premium watch. I usually used Casios, and now, in retirement, I have stepped up to a second hand, analog Seiko.
The Seiko keeps time within a couple of seconds a month, and I don't have to cry when I scratch the crystal. There is not a watch in the world that I would pay a hundred bucks for.

If I'm honest, the watches I've flipped over the last 24 months have out preformed my portfolio percentages in the same timeframe. I'm a watchmaker part time, CW21 certified etc. Somewhere along the line it became a passion. I started originally just trying to support my own addiction. I still wear my frogman and some of my Seiko's it just depends on the day and what I will be doing. I managed to break the custom knife habit a few years ago but I still have this one lol.
