What watch do you wear?

I love your Zeppelin!

I was torn a few years ago between Junkers, Zeppelin, and Iron Annie. All made by POINTtec, I think(?) Absolutely love that cream dial! Mine hasn’t lost a minute in like five years and I’ve never swapped the battery. I’ll try a cream dial next time, if anything ever happens to mine.

1957 Hamilton StormKing V. It was my main dinners-out watch at one time. I haven’t worn it more than a few times since buying the quartz. Original movement still keeps good time if I remember to keep it wound. Last serviced about ten years ago.

I have been toying with the idea of grabbing this. Not sure if I like proprietary bands that need aftermarket support to replace with other styles.

It also seems really thick, to the point of being a magnet for banging into stuff.

However, the cool factor is there, and it's features are right up my alley.

That's certainly a concern of mine as well.

Thick timepieces always tend to get pretty beat up on my wrist.

The style is polarizing, but I think it would perform well in the ocean.

The other thing I think about, is how the strap will probably stain quickly.

The red soil here makes everything turn red, and fast. The yellow strap looks neat, but the black is likely going to age a bit better.

That said, the specs on this Citizen are very good for dunking in the water.

Mr Clean Magic Eraser will help clean up the band when it gets darker with dirt and stains. Act least it works with my Luminox band.

Timex T2M5136K W231-NA "Luxury Sport"

Timex's first mad stab at returning to mechanical watches with funky Seagull movements. Customers didn't "get it" for $175 and calling it Luxury Sport didn't help. Mine was an $80 closeout and I wear it once or twice a year, but here's a tip: if you're attracted to watches with itsy bitsy numbers and letters, always get a white dial.
