The JSAR is far to big IMO, thats why I recently traded mine. As for the maple leaf marathon watches they are very hard to find as are the maple leaf bracelet to go with it. County Comm gets them occasionally but for the most part they are issued to members of the Canadian military and SAR units.

I didn't know they only sold those to military. I was looking at them on the Marathon site and thought I could just order online.

In terms of size, which model is the next size down from the jsar?

Casio Pathfinder primarily. When I am not wearing that, its a Casio G-Shock, I have a few of them, really like them and they are pretty much indestructable. Alot of watch for the money.

Thanks guys for posting what watch is in the picture. I just have a (lost in the house) Timex Expedition, man though, it has annoying beeps that you can't get rid of. does anyone know if the G-Shocks are the same way?

Last week I was wearing this Omega Seamaster, my favorite in my rotation:

Next week I think this one is up in the rotation- a Steinhart Ocean Black. This is a submariner-style watch but black DLC coated. I put the green ZULU strap on it for a little military look.

Citizen Calibre 8700, or Citizen Eco-drive Aqualand.

Not terribly expensive, but nice dependable watches.

And they run on light ... I like 'em.
