That's a great deal! The Casio Pathfinders are a great line of watches. Mine is a PAW-1300T, love it.

You have to be very careful with those eco-drive watches. I've owned 3 and had problems with all 3 of them. If you put them aside and don't wear them for awhile it will kill the battery inside and they won't recharge again. You need to wear them almost every day for them to stay healthy. I've found a lot of businesses on the internet that make a good business out of just fixing ecodrive watch batteries and they charge a lot for the replacements. One of my favorite watches is an ecodrive and I can't wear it now because it is dead and I don't have the money it costs for the repair.

Thanks for the heads-up.
Is it a matter of not wearing them, or storing them out of the light?
I had one in a jewelry box for a couple months once and it took days for it to show fully charged again … I always keep em both where they get natural light now, whether I wear 'em or not …

Thanks again.

Day to day, I wear a Citizen Eco-Drive with a stainless-steel bracelet, had it 7 or 8 years. For posh stuff I either wear a Cartier Tank given to me by the daughter of the owner of the Boston Celtics, my grandfather's 25 years (as a wire weaver) gold presentation Smiths of London watch, or one of his pocket-watches.

One of two G-shocks... Camo 6900 or black Ti Gulfman with wireless and solar..
...or a Seiko 007
...or one of two Ti Citizen Eco drives, one a Diver, and the other a Skyhawk...

Always on the lookout for other G-shocks, Seiko Monsters, Eco-drives... etc...

Casio seems to be a favorite among outdoor enthusiast.
I remember when they first came out....weren't that great of a watch.
Now they seem to hold their own with Citizen and Seiko watches....impressive!!

They just need light... I have one that I got in april 1996, I rarely wear it anymore, but its still running strong... Because it gets light every day. Most will have a 6 month reserve.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I find that they don't look too out of place at the office. I dress business casual and my watch looks fine. If I'm wearing a suit though, I usually go watchless. I'd need something smaller and thinner for that.

Check out Skagen Watches. Problem solved :)
