What watch do you wear?

Citizen Calibre 8700, or Citizen Eco-drive Aqualand.

Not terribly expensive, but nice dependable watches.

And they run on light ... I like 'em.

You have to be very careful with those eco-drive watches. I've owned 3 and had problems with all 3 of them. If you put them aside and don't wear them for awhile it will kill the battery inside and they won't recharge again. You need to wear them almost every day for them to stay healthy. I've found a lot of businesses on the internet that make a good business out of just fixing ecodrive watch batteries and they charge a lot for the replacements. One of my favorite watches is an ecodrive and I can't wear it now because it is dead and I don't have the money it costs for the repair.

Good thing for me is that I got mine at Costco, and a lifetime warranty from both manufacture (I believe) and Costco (for sure).

And since Costco is a authorized dealer, the manufacture warranty still applies.

I have two Citizen Eco-Drive's for about three years now and they still run without problems. I also don't wear them every day, but when I don't wear them, they're on a windowsill facing north, so they're not laying directly in the sun, but have plenty light each day.

This one -seiko 5 sport, with custom wristlet:

Love that Steinhart!

Last week I was wearing this Omega Seamaster, my favorite in my rotation:

Next week I think this one is up in the rotation- a Steinhart Ocean Black. This is a submariner-style watch but black DLC coated. I put the green ZULU strap on it for a little military look.

I've had an EcoDrive for 10 years w/o any problems with the battery. When not worn I put it in the windowsill. I have never seen the charge indicator dip below 3 (full) bars.

Had the same problem with my 1st gen Seiko Kinetic. Once the battery is flat and its been sitting for a while the rotor won't recharge it; big
$$$ to get it replaced.

Thats why I prefer the automatic wind over the kinetics, mine is over 10 years, still haven't had it serviced and it runs on time all day every day (even after it sat for over a year).

I checked out a bunch of Breitlings and IWC's on vacation. The Big Pilot had me drooling big time. I might start saving up for it now so that I can buy one for my 40th birthday(I'm 33 now LOL).

HAHA..That Big Pilot is my favourite watch as well. I really wish I had done more research before I got a Submariner last Dec. I would have this by now but it looks like I am going without, I really like the IWC lineup.
