Google G-Shock Watch Adapter. If it fits your watch it won't allow you to use a leather strap but you can use a nylon one (Zulu, NATO, etc). It's the only watch I have, wish I could replace the rubber straps with leather ones. Casio 9000MS-1CR
I got a factory bracelet (with all links) for a Rolex Deepsea. I wonder how much that would sell for?
You may be suprised.
My $90 TAG Heuer F1. On clearance sale at the Hickam AFB PX in 1991 or so. That was a very good deal even back then.

Really now....
Yup, Rolex won't sell replacements without taking the original back, therefore genuine bands are worth a small fortune.
It's honestly quite ridiculous. There's no justification other than the fact that high end companies like Omega have the ability to extort the customers. What engineering, tight tolerances, or quality could go into 7-8 inches of leather or a steel bracelet to make it cost between $400-$700 is beyond me. I found the same thing when looking for an OEM Omega deployment clasp + OEM leather band for my Seamaster. With the bracelets, I can see a price tag of maybe 200 to 300 maximum, the leather ones costing as much as they do is just absurd. Many well made leather jackets cost less...Even their rubber straps are in the same price range. Rubber. 4 tires often cost less...
Yup. A fool and his money are not only soon parted, they were lucky to ever meet in the first place. Regarding straps, keep two things in mind: very few watch companies make their own straps (even the ones who sell them for ridiculously high prices) and excellent straps can be had much less expensively from makers making nothing but straps. It's honestly quite ridiculous.
