What would have been Jack Reacher's ideal EDC?

Pretty lame and late post (duh) but what would have been a good one for him?

From Wikipedia:
As a drifter, the only possessions he carries are money, a foldable toothbrush and, after 9/11, an expired passport and an ATM debit card.

The toothbrush alone can do plenty of damage just like what Jason Bourne did with pen and paper.
 
A large grip knife for hand osteoarthritis.

It's interesting, I've read about 10 of the Jack Reacher books and he never carries a pocket knife. I've attributed it to the fact that he's just travelling and has no desire to be involved in adventure - if he needed a knife it may be a sign to himself that he's not doing what he should be doing: relaxing.
 
I'm about 10 books in, and only in one book so far has he carried a knife, and Boker with a ceramic blade, that he bought to get past metal detectors when the Secret Service hired him to "test" their security around a VP-Elect. He then used it later in the book.

Other than that he never carries any knife, which I find odd for a retired Army MP, but the author is from England, and his knife knowledge is probably as bad as his gun knowledge........

"If" I were writing the Reacher stuff, since he basically lives as wandering tourist, I'd give him a SAK for it's utility and a lockblade of some kind that was reasonably priced, yet widely available, and could be easily replaced "over the counter". (If you read the novels and know how he is about clothes, you'll get that last part) :)
 
I was reflecting about it.
In the REAL WORLD probably Jack Reacher (besides the folding toothbrush, ATM card and Expired Passport) would carry some inexpensive and little folding knife or MT - $30 max - (examples: Kabar Dozier, Rat 2, Vic Tinker, Spartan or Hiker), a mini Bic lighter and a very "easy to find batteries", inexpensive and concealable flashlight (Streamlight Microstream, Protac 2AAA or Stylus Pro) and that´s it.
 
Something disposable and easily replaced at any Goodwill store along with some clean clothes ! :p

He would carry whatever he took off a bad guy. Like when he raids a drug house to arm up and get cash.

Edit to add: not the biggest fan, but I have read a few. Movie wise, maybe there have been worse casting decisions than the Tom Cruise thing. But I can't think of any at the moment! omg
