If you had 200 dollars to go knife shopping, would you buy one good knife, or multiple decent budget knives? I have several options in mind but I would like to hear your opinions. I’m open to any ideas within my budget.

You have several options in mind, which is nice...

But are you looking for folder or fixed? And what role are you looking to fill?

You need to 1st determine what you plan to do with the knife.

You need to 2nd decide folder or fixed, and what steel.

Then you need to pick out the knife, and save for that knife.

I’m leaning towards folders at this time for my carry rotation. Not to sure about steel but I enjoy sharpening so I may avoid the premium grade powder steels. I would like to keep the blade length around 3 to 3.5 inches.

Ahh, then for my $200 rotating EDC budget I would get two folders.

The Benchmade Bugout, and I would add the Spyderco Delica in Zome green FFG VG-10.

Two of the finest carry pieces I've ever seen.

Adding to a collection, or trying to start one? Four 50$ knives will tell you which direction to look before you get to the $200 one.
Middle of the road collection already, two 100$.
Bugout is a nice light one.

I have a small collection, so I’m just adding to it. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm assuming since you've been around long enough, NEED is not the driving factor here. I'd definitely get a Sprint run or similar really nice folder like that DLC 20CV Manix 2 or whatever that one was I missed  and a small fixed blade like a BK-14. That would have been my picks ;) Maybe sub the BK-14 out for a nice Civivi or Tangram just to try something different!

One good one.
Depends on your use though. If all you need is a slip joint then you can get off easier.
Maybe buy a sharpening stone as well.

A fun one is the Syderco Delica in HAP40 steel from Fradon Lock. Carbon Fiber. Pretty skinny handle but it has really stout full steel liners. There are other vendors that sell that knife for them. It's well under $200.
Or get one of the super steel Para2s

Or . . . if you want to get really crazy throw another $60 on there and get an Edge Pro Apex sharpener. Then you'll be ready when you get that next nice knife.

If I had $200 to spend and wanted to add a nice folder to my carry rotation...I would buy a nice folder with the $200 to add to my carry rotation.

My suggestion is the Al Mar Sere 2K.

Exactly!!! I don’t need another, I just love knives, and I enjoy shopping for them. I like reading suggestions from like minded folks to give me something to think about. Thanks for the suggestions.
