What would you like to see Buck produce?

I'd love to see Buck Knives make a Sharpfinger...hollow ground in their 420HC.Jimping on the thumb ramp with finger grooves at the handle bottom.I am surprised Buck never made one.

I would like to see the do a few things:
make a scout model in the 300 series, with can and bottle opener.
reintroduce the 307 in a three spring version.

Less so, make a 55 or a 112 with a drop point.

Last little things: I would like to see them rework the 301 so that the tip of the spey doesn't stick out. On this forum I read a lot of problem posts which end with "send it back and Buck they will replace it", I'd like to see them work on quality control so these are less frequent.

I would love to see the 305 clip and sheepsfoot produced on a larger frame. I love the blade combo, but the size puts me off a bit. Something ~3 1/2" would be great.
Something with a bird's eye pivot would also be great. I think I recal seeing some vintage Bucks done like this.

a 110 stainless or titanium frame with a pocket clip and screwed together construction.

A premium 119 with S30V, M390, S110V, with a classy micarta handle. Or even better... C-tek!!!

Buck did this in 2001, with the Signature Series. They offered a 119 with polished S30V steel, a up grade sheath, checkered walnut handles with a lanyard hole. A striking knife at 200$. DM

I decided to start reading this thread from top to bottom just for kicks and found this post on page 5.

How about an aluminum frame 110? Same look, less weight.

Of all of the suggestions in this thread, Copper & Clad (OP)took this one and made it happen. Great job C&C!

I didn't continue reading to see if there were more interest in the aluminum framed 110, but Jeff O got his wish...

A Buck R1306 pattern like the 1984 and 1990 Bullet Knife. Wouldn't be a bad combo now that Remington partnered with Buck. Here's a picture of my 1990 R1306 Bullet Knife.

bradytx, your Remington bareheaded knife looks good plus it locks and has liners and a lanyard hole. I would prefer a 2 blade model Trapper with the same features. Still, you bring up an interesting thought. If Copper & Clad or SK blades doesn't give us something we wish for we have a Ace in the hole with Buck teaming up with Remington. What I'm hoping is that all 4 party's are reading our mail and will consider offering a model the other one is not bringing out. With 4 models to choose from something has got to please enough folks to make the venture profitable. DM

^make that a 120 with a wider blade and ffg or saber ground and i'd be in. need the longer length to really utilize the advantage of 5160, imho. course make it 52100 and i'm in for either.....

Wouldn't that essentially be a 124 with a flat ground 5160 blade? I might be interested in one of those...

I've used my stacked leather handle for hours and it has never bothered my hands. I like a real tool with heft. Hawks don't appeal to me. To each his own taste. Wooden handled hatchets don't last with me. DM

I'm not exactly big on hawks either, at least in a hatchet role anyways.

BTW another thing I've thought of that buck could easily do is offer colored diamondwood scales. How easy would it be for them.to just dye the wood ?
I love the standard wood look, but what about green orange or smoky gray.
A lot of hunters use Boyd's laminate gun stocks and they probably carry a buck knife, so it would make sense to offer colored wood which might match their rifle. How different is bucks diamondwood from.a laminate rifle stock anyways ?
