What would you like to see in 2016?

I've been ready for a "mid-size" Sebenza for a very long time. The small falls out of my hand; the large is too large.
Something with a closed grip-length of 4.6" or so..
I carry something else now...in the grip-length that I've mentioned...

some more balisongs would be welcome either by spyderco or any other company that can produce a good balisong with some more variety than we see know. kimura's coming back would be excellent but probably far-fetched. as folders go, i would like spyderco to have a few more sub 2.5 inch folders and an upgraded tenacious sprint run with different g10 or micarta would be pretty cool

From Spyderco at least 5 new blades with the compression lock from 2 to 4 inches with a variety of steels.
From Benchmade a full skeleton steel liner thin G10 scaled variation on the Grip...with the drop point in S30V at a reasonable cost.

A small ti scaled gentleman's edc would be cool at a low price...3 inch range blade VG10 or 154CM minimum steel. Not scary but handsome...and not a liner or frame lock.

I would also love to see something between the 0450 and 0452. I am also itching for a slightly lighter weight 0452 with better steel. Perhaps a carbon fiber version.

Not to pick nits, but the 0452 does have carbon fiber. And there is a lighter weight version, but it's very expensive and hard to find, the 0454.

Spyderco, great job, *especially on the collaborations! *Please bring back the copilot, also start using CF and TI on knives like PM2. *CRK, great job but come out with a flipper or something new. *Innovate or die! Yes I know Chris Reeves was a real innovator but what have you done for me lately? *ZT, I think they've done a great job but like CRK need to try something other than the same old TI frame locks. Emerson knives, get a handle on quality control! *Kershaw, great job! I really don't think they can do much better without increasing price and reasonably priced or cheap knives is their niche.

I could have been more clear. I have two items on my wishlist:
1) A lighter weight 0450 that is closer to a gentlemen's carry. I was suggesting this might be satisfied by simply replacing one of the scales with carbon fiber. But now that I'm thinking about it, I would like to change out the steel and add some anodizing.
2) Something that is between the size of the 0450 and 0452. I didn't say it before, but I would prefer a different steel on this as well.

Gotcha! That sounds pretty interesting.

A production traditional styled knife made with modern stainless steels. Go way radical and produce a few with pocket clips (similar to Cold Steel's Lucky).

"What would you like to see in 2016?"

...a nice Spyderco folder in my Christmas stocking...

I second the military 2. The esee izula folder and a ZT Shirogorov collaboration.

I would like to see the prices on shirogorov knives come down to the $300 to $600 range. I own a few and love them but i believe i over paid a bit. I few new CRK designs and mybe a flipper from them.
