What would you like to see us make next?

Hi Ken,
Got my Chive in my pocket always, love it. only down fall for me is its a bit slippie in my hand. Some Knurling or texture on the scales would be awesome. Thanks Ken

KenOnion:

Mr. Onion, I would like to see sorta Strider PT knife in ZT line. The same materials, dimensions but a bigger cutting lenght.

Framelock Blur- yeah, cool idea.

Scallion and Chive with better blade and handle materials (S30V for blade and titanium for the handle)

More CF scales.

And just keep going ;-)

A hollow ground leek in CPM M4 would be awesome although expensive to manufacture. I don't think any production company has released any knives with this steel yet.

A Kershaw balisong would be a certain purchase for me.

It also would be hard on a such a small knife, M4 works better on choppers as I recall...... but I like your thinking! :D

How many M4 or CPM-M4 choppers have you been thrashing? Wherever it belongs, it'd make a neat steel to try in a Leek. The question, though, would be whether the benefits come from the steel or from blade's shape? I've got a 440A Leek and its actual performance has never made me want another steel. I mean, I do anyways, but not for any "it'll cut better with this steel" reason.

I've been perusing this forum for a while and it sounds like you guys have some pretty good ideas. I would like to hear from you on what you think we should make next. Don't be afraid to give me a challenge.Feel free to go outside the box in your thinking, or not.

What areas of the production knife arena do you feel we should put more focus on and why?

What do you think is missing?

I have a simple request....:):):)
I would love more options on Scallions.
A black and Gold scallion would be great.

I do love my Scallion and really wonder why you guys made lots of different chives and leeks but not alot of different scallions?

thanks

Dear Ken,I think your Taboo model would make a perfect production knife.Maybe heat colored Ti handlees with a satin finish blade, with a Ti clip. I really like my Speed -Bump thank you for such a refreshing design. Let us know what you come up with?

YES. The Kershaw line cries out for a production Taboo!

Ken, I would love to see a lefty version of the ZT 03XX series, but without a recurve in the blade... :)

I think there is some crazy NY Giants fan always asking for one.
I wonder who that could be? :D:D

and yes, a Taboo would be nice.

mike

Since its been about 10 minutes since I've petitioned for the Taboo to be produced, I figured I'd make another plea!

PLEASE THOMAS!

Something like the Groove Tanto for lefties. It works to open, but it's hard to close with the left hand. The clip also doesn't work for lefties, as they must pull it out and then turn it around to open it.

Make left-hand friendly knives. I can't find s aingle Kershaw that has pocket clip holes on the left side.
The Scallion and Chive need a better blade steel than 420HC.
How about a more economical version of some higher-end Ken Onion knives? I try to limit my knife purchases to around $100 or less, so a lot of Ken's offerings are out of my range.

Oh, since the Cyclones are going away. How about something similiar in size (and blade shape), but with G10 scales and a blade that is a composite of some kind; like a 14C28N spine married to a ZDP-189 cutting edge... ;)

I would like to see Kershaw come out with some type of edged instrument, useful for everyday tasks, that folds in a manner to reduce size and provide protection from the edge, and allow storage in pocket. This would ideally be at a price point that is easy to stomach and with high quality materials. Another plus would be comfortable ergonomics, and something that is aesthetically well done.

:D :D :D
