What would you like to see us make next?

How about a professional law enforcement looking tool like the Boker AK101.

The ZT 0200 is close but a little too meaty.

EDIT: I take that back I have just seen the ZT 0500 MUDD.

I'd like to see something with a hawkbill-style blade, perhaps reminiscent of the old Talon, but modernized. :D

Ray :)

A production Ken Onion kurkri in d2, make sure it has a nice thin edge unlike the outcast.
G10 handles would be sweet to.

How about the first three or so inches of a BOA in a full sized Boa handle? Maybe out of 1095 with a EDP coat to help resist rust and a notice shiped with the knife that would say something like " Rust is like age - resist it - but live with it". 1095 may dull quicker - but it's way easy to sharpen and doesn't seem to be breakable unless you REALY work at it. For me - big thing would be a knife I can pry with - 'cause it's not much use to me as a tool unless I can.

baby bump with pocket clip and boron coating- good keychain knife like the baby boa but with a more usable blade profile.

high end Skyline- with with TI handles and a framelock it would be a basic, quality edc. wood scales/insets could be interesting with the lines of that knife.

two blade large folder with a saw and speedsafe on one or both implements.

I'd like to see a stout, utility folder in the new CPM110 steel. No major recurves, just a plain full flat ground blade with a framelock. Blade appx. 3.5 to 3.75 inches. Joe

I would like to see variant of the ZT 0200 with the following properties:

+ Larger ZT 0200 (with blade length 4") with same blade shape and handle.

+ Use CPM-10V blade steel

+ Sealed pivots

+ Button lock WITH safety

+ Glass breaker

+ Convex style serrations

+ Closed back for extra comfort during heavy duty tasks

+ No assisted opening

+ In traditional black colour but also another version in Coyote brown

+ Call it the ZT 0210 (black), ZT211 (Coyote).

This would be my -UBER- dream knife!

The full sized Starky Ridge G10 ATS34 was my first real "tactical" folder. I always loved both the handle and blade shape; I didn't like the one sided thumb stud and the laser cut shoulder thing.

So I'd like to see the same knife, 3.75 inch blade, with the same shape handle and blade but flat ground with the CPM-D2 combo blade or whole blade of CPM-D2 (or S30V) and a flipper. Titanium liner would be a plus. :)

Not revolutionary, but boy would that be a great knife.

Ken,

I'd love to see a middling-fancy Rage - polished Ti frame, maybe an overlay, inlay, or unusual grooving... give me an office-tactical knife!

Or something in a 3.5in blade, speedsafe, tip up and no saftey (like the shallot) but maybe an aggressively shaped wharncliff or hawkbill blade. I could definitely get behind that.

And more button locks. Framelocks are great, but I'd love to see Kershaw do a gentleman's-quality line of larger knives to straddle the gap between your customs and the production line; replace William Henry (as they've priced themselves out of the market and I like your designs better anyway!). Encourage kershaw to not be afraid to get into premium materials now and again!

Like everyone here, I love the ZT line. Like most people here, I have family members in the business where they would use them - but they're all pretty big (5+ inches handle) like most knives in this category.

A lot of people who are shorter avoid the knives because that's just too big - a 4 inch handle that is equally powerful would make a lot of people happy.

Thanks for listening.

I just wanted to second this post... a smaller , equally heavy duty knife of the ZT 300/200 line would be awesome. G10, 4-way pocketclip, frame-lock.

Also, if a deep finger choil could be incorporated into a knife.. i like being able to choke up on a knife when on duty for more control cutting away webbing, seatbelts, cloth, plastic.. anything that could get into the way of me pulling a person out of a situation... that would be cool too.

Ok Ken, if you want a challenge, how's this.

1. It needs to use the Stud-lock.

2. With the Composite blade technology, try using three different steel types on the same blade.
Something nice and stainless for the base, with more wear resistant steel at the start of the edge, and ending in something tougher (For example, 13C26 base, with the edge beginning in CPM S125V and ending in CPM 154).

3. Give the blade the same texture/pattern as the handle.
Remember the Ti Bump, how the handle had the coolest texturing ever?
Try using some crazy pattern like that on the blade as well as the handle, keeping it all anodized the same.
Maybe a nice pattern that looks like crystal roses...
On a mountain side.
With the ocean in the background.
And bunny rabbits (under the beautiful golden rays of the sun).

Ok, just a rose theme would do it for me.
(seriously, don't put bunny rabbits on it.)

4. Give it a true, full, convex grind (and just try re-curving that!).

And one more thing, it needs to be distal tapered as well. :D

How about a multi-tool?
