What y'all wearing on your feet ?

I bought some Salomon exit peak GTX boots last week and they feel great after wearing my heavy Mendl leather boots for so long, I just wanted some lighter ones for over summer. What's everyone else wear ?

I've been looking at those myself buddy,I quite like the hemp ones, which ones do you have ?

Just the regular canvas ones. Called the Vagabond. Mine are brown. Most comfortable thing I've ever had on my feet.

Had my Asolos for a couple of years I can't remember the Model but they are basically what they sale now as the Fugitive GTX. They have served me well even standing with them submerged under water while fishing. Well worth the price paid.

I generally wear a pair of Columbia hiking boots (an earlier version of the Newton Ridge model, I believe), even in the summer. Call me crazy, but I would much rather be over-shod than under. My boots are waterproof, reasonably light-weight, and they have good ankle support. I often go off-trail, and it's nice to have a reliable set of boots when scrambling up or down embankments, through streams, etc.

I admire those of you who go barefoot, though!

I have been thinkingabout some soft-soled moccasins for the summer time. mostly for the significatly less weight sompared to boots. In the winter though, I still use boots.

Now, Keen Venice everywhere except work, and sometimes even there on Fridays. I hear the Keen Newports are just as comfy if not more so.

Winter, looking for a good (not overly heavy) boot suggestion for all around use.

When I'm working it's a pair of WORX by Red Wing.

I despise footwear. I'll ocasionally wear shoes or boots when required, I.E; School, and stores or using my axes.

I'll either wear a pair of Goretex Merrel Moabs or a pair of 8" Goretex Wolverines, Dakota Model (Got them cause thats me name!)

I prefer wearing sandals in the summer as stepping in glass or some ***hats discarded cigarette butt is NOT fun.
