Are the five fingers an especially sweaty shoe? They look like something that I could love but I have very hot feet, and that is always an issue, especially as "anti" scent/microbials never seem to work for me in shoes. I always wear sandals except when it gets around -10/-15 Celcius in the city, then it is insulated rubber boots as I cannot have any peripheral pressure on my ankles.
Summer on the trail, I like my new TNF hikers, but love Keens for day to day duties. Got a pair of Keen sandals, some mid hight hikers, and may pick up the PCT boots this summer as well. Long trails with a heavy pack it's gotta be my Garmont stompers
Winter, some Stegers are in order this year otherwise my Cabela's Trans-Alaska packs...
