What y'all wearing on your feet ?

Hiking: Merrells (outlanders maybe?)

Work: New Balance running shoes or Van's casual shoes

Anywhere else: Quiksilver slippers

Barefoot on the trail and in the water, now that it's warm enough. In town, where shoes are required I'm wearing these.

I have those Sanuks too. I call them my work slippers. They go great with khaki's, shorts, or jeans.

Heavy packs I have a pair of Scarpa Deltas. Fast packing and trail running I wear Salomon XA Pros.

Summer time it's these:

I've also got a pair of black waterproof Rockport XCS mid-cut boots but can't remember the name or find a picture of them.

I've got too many shoes to mention, probably more than my wife! :D Tons of Timberlands, Nikes, And Ones, Aldo's, etc etc.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I've been looking into getting some amphibious shoes also and have my eye on these. I prefer the Dafda Boa because it has the Boa lacing system as opposed to regular laces that always hang and get in the way.

Some of my friends joke that I'm the Imelda Marcos of outdoor footwear. I have a lot more than I need. What I probably wear most for light hiking is Asolo's FSN 95. I've got some Asolo Sasslongs (heavier) for backpacking. For rough off-trail use, some sturdier Alico mountaineering boots. Early season hunting, some medium-weight Brownings. For cold weather hunting, the Meindl Winter 800s and Chippewa Arctic 50s are great (also some Sorel pac boots). During the summer, Teva Trail Wraptor sandals or some Chacos. For snake country, a couple different varieties of snake boots (including Chippewa and LaCrosse). Easy trails, New Balance trail runners. Horse packing, Chippewa packer boots. Rafting, some NRS Workboots. Wading, Simms with the Aquastealth climbing shoe sole (I prefer it over felt). Biggest surprise: Kamik Bullish model (Chinese made and on sale for $35, but they have a Vibram sole and have held up amazingly well).

LL Bean Gore-Tek lined hikers. Probably old enough to retire but I can't bring myself to do it since they are so comfortable.

Now that it's warm out, I wear my Chaco sandals 24/7. They're so comfortable that I got two pairs of the same style (in different colors) cuz I'm girly like that :D.

Well, not so much that they're "girly":D, but once you get them adjusted and your feet get used to them, Chaco's are really a great pair of sandles...something I often take for short hike and even pack along for around the camp. I wear mine just about every day during the summer and around town...

My Chaco Flips are probably the least "girly" sandles I've seen. Most durable too. I did a ten mile mountain bike loop, in the rain, with only those sandals. :D

oh they're totally awesome. The "girly" part is having TWO pairs of the exact same shoe so that I can pick which color I want to wear on a given day :p

Yeah, I was just make'in fun of ya. I'm going to get a second pair, but it'll be the same color, just so I don't get the "girly shoe" comment from my wife:D

Yesterday I bought 2 pairs of boots. Wellingtons for working on farm, and Magnum low cut side-zip boots for police job. The boots say Royal Mail and are allegedly surplus boots worn by British mailmen which they are getting rid of because they cause accidents on wet metal flooring. Since I am always on dirt or mud or asphalt I figured they were okay. Everything in Thailand is counterfeit, just about anyway, but I figured maybe these were genuine as not cheap and also got from supposedly reputable army surplus store. However the zipper broke off first time I used it, so I dont know. I took boots to local shoe repair guy and he replace both zippers and only charged me 60 baht which is less than 2 bucks in USD. I gave him 100 baht anyway as it was not easy job.
I also wear sandals for everyday wear, Timberland Pit Boss work boots, Magnum Hi-tec Industrails and New Balkance running shoes.

Teva sandals for 98% of my time. Rockport for dress. Unless I have a heavy pack on my back, the Tevas work perfectly for me in the woods, city, beach, etc. You can't wear those damn things out! When I need the arch support because of a heavy backpack, I wear Merrils.

I especially liked how they just floated in the air when Al held them up and released them!:D
