Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

From the secondary market. A #33 Conductor, serial #17, ivory slabs. Received the tracking # this morning.

A special thank to 2Dead, Trand and Chief, John for making this possible. I had one that I brought from Boggs several months ago on the forum. A short while after that I was contacted by a forum member who had tracked my conductor down, searching the forum sales. He had one and really wanted a matching ivory Conductor for his young son. Being a softy, I sold him my ivory Conductor for what I had paid for it. Shortly after I regretted selling it.

Yesterday I missed one that 2Dead had for sale on the forum. It went very quickly. I sent a PM to 2Dead about his ivory GECs and he helped me out.

Long story short, 2Dead helped me connect with Chief who was willing to sell his. We have some great people on this forum. I'm so very happy, thanks guys.

Tom - beautiful Conductor and a great story behind it too. Congrats!

I've wanted a Sowbelly for the longest time, but hadn't been able to find what I wanted - until now.

Thanks for the response, Daniel. I remember that earlier thread and I liked his facebook page way back then. Can't wait to see the new knife.

Just ordered and en route. My first foray into traditionals outside of SAKs since I was a kid. I just ordered a Case Med Congress Second Cut Jigged Kentucky Bluegrass.

Hope you don't mind the image directly from Case.

Beautiful, classic knife. I'm waiting for Case to make just the right version with CV blades... I often carry my grandfather's from the 1920s. The only change from 90 years ago is the shield and the stainless. You are joining a great tradition. I hope, like my grandfather, you carry yours for 50 years. Enjoy!

I have a Tidioute model 73 in ebony coming. I picked it up off the secondary market. It is the single non-locking blade version. I am looking forward to trying it out.

^^That is EXCELLENT Justin. No idea that Queen ever used BG-42 or that it would come in as fine a package as that!

I sold some modern OHO knives recently and had to think long and hard what to do with the (expendable) spending money. Finally settled on a Blackjack 1-7 in the ivory micarta. I can't get enough of those knives at the prices they are at right now. Basically better-looking Bark Rivers at a much lower price.

Went to the Sardinian about a resolza, just like the Grand High Muckba's only a little bit bigger. Looking forward to this one.

I also plan on getting a Viper and a Northwoods Madison Barlow.

Scott Gossman has Polaris's, puukkos and a new puukko/Polaris hybrid called the Orion that's calling to me.

Of course I'd like to get a custom slipjoint.
