Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Getting another Peanut, enroute and now the wait ;)

Case Cutlery 7404 Case Pocket Worn Peanut Pocket Knife with Stainless Steel Blades Harvest Orange Bone

I know some really like the CV bladed ones but I am just not partial to patina's I guess and the stainless I've had from Case seems to take a pretty good edge too.

No picture yet, once she's here, I'll pop one in to this post as well as the Cult of the Peanut thread too ;)

Edited to add the photo of the new Peanut that arrived today, very nice :)

Just got this Spartan in. Don't use 84mm knives much because of my RA but have been shooting Leicas for over 36 years and just had to have it (and it was only 12 Bucks).

Loads of peanuts being picked up at the minute, I have a queen one in D2 with curly zebra wood scales on the way from the states. Should be here in 2-3 weeks.

I have a few but my latest most exciting purchase is my first GEC. A Tidioute #68 White Owl in ebony :)

I'm just now kind of getting into "traditional knives". I remember having or messing around with a SAK as a kid and something brought me to look more into them.

I just got my second #85 Bullet End Jack, this time a Tidioute in streaked ebony. All my other ebony knives are jet black, so this is a nice addition.

Andy -

A fine choice. A Woodland Special was my first Barkie as well, and I still love it. A lot of knife in a compact package.

Thank you, gentlemen. My goal was something both practical and attractive. Though I liked the dimensions of the Bravo EDC, I felt that for my first fixed blade it might be a bit tactical looking for the sensibilities of my wife. Once she gets accustomed to seeing this strapped to my belt, a Bravo 1 with green linen micarta handles might not seem so out of place.

And though the micarta handles on the Woodland Special may be more rugged, these desert ironwood handles just spoke to me. The matching fire steel was, of course, an obvious purchase.

And so was the micarta inlay small Sebenza that will also find its way into the shipment, but we won't mention that one on this thread.

Micarta is certainly tough to beat in the durability department, but ironwood is also extremely tough. And much better looking, imo.

Actually really excited for this one. Picked up a Winchester Black Box 1989 Doctors knife for a SCREAMING DEAL!
Here is a picture (not from me)
