Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I'm waiting for the "Big Brown Truck of Joy" to deliver my Case folding Bird Hunter, with amber bone scales. I was hoping to buy a Buck #321 bird hunter, long discontinued, but couldn't justify the cost of one in mint cond. ($75. - $90.!). It'll go right into the zippered pocket of my upland vest.

I would love to see pictures! Your post makes me wish I was a bird hunter.

Sometimes I am afraid to post on this page, afraid I'll jinx it, that the knife that arrives will not live up to the knife that is on order. Sometimes I am afraid to get my hopes up, even though I am watching the window for the postman.

It's been a pretty awesome week, these are all en route..

Great haul! I must be hanging out in the wrong places lol.

Holy cow, sugarleaf! Did you just say to yourself, "It's a slow day. I think I'll buy all the rarest, most sought-after knives GEC has made?" Wow, what a week! Please post more pictures when they are in hand! Wow!

I confess, I have one en route: single blade clip TC Barlow in 3rd cut stag. Maybe today. :)

Yeah, all the stars aligned this week and I was pretty happy in scoring each and every one of these. I did have to give up several of my babies in trade for a couple of them, but overall, I'm pretty pleased :)

Boy, I'll say! To score that many in one week and have them be some of the most sought after Traditionals in here too! Well done sir!

Thanks Perry... Just caught up on some reading and saw that you went Gold! Congrats man!!

That's awesome Scott, those third cuts are gorgeous knives. I love how the covers vary from knife to knife. Looking forward to seeing yours!

Thank you sir! A gift from someone here, what gift it was too! Yesterday I'm looking around and all of the sudden I turned gold! I am humbled to say the least.

Finally found a GEC 33 with the coping blade. Got it off Tue exchange.

Totally blew my new years resolution of one knife a month lol.

I just ordered 2 new knives. The first is the last 2014 BF knife. The second is a Tidioute Bullet Jack in brown jigged bone. These will be my first GEC knives. Looking to buy 2-3 more to "jump start" my GEC collecting.

Two new jelly beans for the collection arrived today. Great tiny knives.

Have a great weekend folks.

Best regards

Robin

I ordered this Boker Tree Brand Congress last night. I've got a question about it actually. I was reading if the knife does not say "Solingen" on it, it is a fake. This knife says Germany on the sheild. Does anyone know where these are made if not made in Germany? It was $35 online. Pretty excited about it. Anyone else have one?

From previous threads, assembled in Germany with Chinese made parts. Still an excellent knife for the price point, and about $20 less than an all German, made and assembled in Solingen.

That's great to hear! Another question you may be able to help me with. In the description for the steel, it says, high carbon stainless steel. Will it patina?

Yeah, I know....I was saving for a moose but for 20 bucks shipped, I couldn't pass it up.
