Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

My unhealthy obsession with the Vic combo tool continues. 2 Compacts, cell and alox Bantam, GAK...and now this. The Lumberjack is basically the Bantam with a saw (Cadet size.)

That's an awesome knife. I've had the bantam on my list for a while...but I may need to replace with the lumberjack now that you showed that. Wish they still made it!

I just ordered and I'm already trying to track! Lol

This one is coming from the exchange... I think I got a sweet deal on it.

Congrats, Tom! :thumbup::thumbup:
A Fieldmaster has been on my "secret pleasures" list for a long time; great collection of tools, IMHO. I really ought to just buy a new one (incredible bargain at $25-30), but I like trying to find a good used one (probably for $20 - I know, it makes no sense :(:o).

Without a doubt, the Kephart is one of the most versatile fixed blades one can own. In fact, it may be the only fixed you would ever need to own (if you weren't knife-obsessed accumulators with poor impulse control, like most of us :D). You can take it straight from the kitchen to camp duties to skinning and dressing game, and it will do it all - more importantly, it will do it well.

A Lon Humphrey Kephart has been on my belt on many days in the outdoors, and it is a fantastic knife.

But when Bark River recently unveiled an updated version in CPM-3V steel, with a .093" blade thickness, I knew that I would have no choice but to grab one. I've been very impressed with the 3V knives I've owned - it strikes a great balance between edge retention and relatively easy field maintenance. A Kephart in a modern steel and a thin (but plenty tough) blade was too much to resist.

I don't have pics but I have a #99 Wall Street in ebony coming and a #82 Dixie Stockman Indian paintbrush coming and I can't wait to see that mini clip blade on the stockman!

Very nice Kephart sir! Another great looking bocote in your assemblage of knives. :thumbup:

Look forward to pics.

I have a 15 long pull clip bare head in cocobolo on the way.
I was taunted by a couple 15s in cocobolo (Phillll & Mr_Badexample) a couple days ago and went hunting. :)

I'm about a year out for a Brent Cramer Lanny's Clip, waiting to hear back from Tracy Larock on either a LC or Zulu, and emailing with Dr T on a single blade, probably a LC or Zulu. I think I'm going to go with a Zulu.

I just sent payment for a Wiseman barlow. I think I shot my wallet for this and next year :eek:.

Just got a RR Heavy Duty Lockback. Really stiff, but loosened up with some oil and working it many times. I don't know why they call it Heavy Duty; the blade is the same thickness as that of my Vic Tinker. Still, if you like single blades, this wouldn't be a bad choice.

Over the weekend I bought a "like new" circa 1972 Buck 116 Caper and sheath - it should be here early next week. OH

Just ordered 10-minutes ago from collector knives.
