I ordered a #15 huckleberry as well... which will be my first traditional folder! Been waiting quite some time to find the right combination of blade shape, handle shape and material, and price for my first traditional. I'm really excited to be getting a taste of GEC craftsmanship, seems like there's pretty much endless praise for it on the forums.

I don't think we'll be disappointed. Basically for me, I'm getting the blade and handle I wanted in the TC... Just not a TC Barlow style. But, there will be other Barlows. I think you picked a good "first" GEC traditional. Congrats.

Same here. I was kind of disappointed to be priced out of the TC barlow market. But I can understand what with their popularity blowing up so much these days.
I must say that I am very tempted to get one of the new Queen barlows in walnut. Does anyone know if they have half stops?

I have two older Queen barlows and they both have half stops. Bet this one will too. That is a fine deal on those walnut barlows.....D2 tool steel, at a terrific price. I like the single blade version.
