Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Don't I know it, Will. You are such an enabler! I've got a #38 Chapman Pruner in maroon linen micarta coming, but then you knew that, didn't you? :D

Well I'm flattered Rachel, at least I'm good at something:D

That Linen Pruner will in no way disappoint you, an excellent choice!

Thanks, N.Abler

An absolutely lovely Eric's Jack and a Schatt & Morgan Sleeveboard are both heading my way. Being new to collecting traditional knives, I don't own either pattern yet.

I'm afraid I'm gonna be disappointed with the tru-sharp stainless steel since I like CV so much but I couldn't pass on this Peanut with stag handles & worked bolsters. She was the last one available so I bit.

You may not be as disappointed with your purchase as you may think. While the steel may not be quite as hard as those of the Buck folding knives of the same ilk, you should still have the ability to put a nice edge on the blades in short order. It looks nice!

May you enjoy your purchase for many years to come!

Two of my knives from Colonial may have been burned up in a collision between a van and a U.S Mail semi-trailer. The driver of the van was killed, and half the semi-trailer's contents were consumed in the fire.

On Tuesday, I'll call both the Post Office and Colonial Knife Corporation to see if they were destroyed, and if Colonial will re-ship.

Under the circumstances, I believe knives are of little importance. JMO. I have a Cocobolo #73 on order. I've been wanting a 00 guitar with this back wood for some time Guess I'll settle for a knife.

I finally did it Woodrow......

Have 1988 Winchester Moose on the way!

With all the options in the '15 Blade Forum knife discussion leaning to a single spring - two blade pattern, it peaked my interest and I thought I should give one a try.
The GEC 38 did not really appeal to me. So, after looking around a bit, I pulled the trigger on a 68 White Owl in Bocote with a clip main.

Now it's all about waiting... waiting... waiting...

Mr B I feel sure you'll like the Ebony Owl. If not, it makes an excellent trade proposition or a sale object, you can't lose.

Here's my Owl Aviary to tide you over.

Regards, Will

Very nice Will - I did prefer the clip main rather than the spear and that set cements my opinion.
Really gives me something to look forward to.

Waiting... Waiting... Waiting...

I'm waiting on a 22 Magnum in Smooth Buckthorn Bone and an Esquire in Ebony.

Wow. I just ordered that exact same combo of knives yesterday. I got the Esquire in ebony and the 22 in black buffalo horn. I usually carry a peanut, so I went for the smaller knives. These will be my first GEC knives.
