Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I wish I knew how to transfer pictures from other sources, so that I could show some of the knives I have order. The USN Mark 1 Deck Knife and 2 3/8" blade Model 7001 assisted opener, with an 440C steel blade, are due in my mailbox today!

Captain O

Ix-Nay on the assisted opener. That belongs in General forum.

Well, it's not terribly exciting, but I have a Taylorschrade 93OT Wrangler coming today. It's a pattern I have always liked from afar and pretty precious in USA-made livery. It is, obviously, intended as a user, whereas a USA would most likely be a safequeen.

Sending final payment today for this and my Dr T Zulu, hoping to get it after Blade show.

Nonsense! ALL ordered knives are terribly exciting:thumbup::thumbup: Think how bleak it is when there's nothing pending..

Thanks, Will

I dont know what has come over me ,first a yeller Peanut now i have just ordered a Case small stockman in sawcut antique bone, after seeing a video on You Tube, what appeals to me is the lack of a half stop. Now i have two knives that will take one or two weeks minimum to get to me.

Don't I know it, Will. You are such an enabler! I've got a #38 Chapman Pruner in maroon linen micarta coming, but then you knew that, didn't you? :D

A Case 030 cv peanut in yeller after a prompt from Captain O.

You will never regret it, my brother! The English know how to build knives (think Sheffield) and we Yanks are pretty good at too! ;) The Queen mother knows how to preserve metal (Rennaisance Microcrytalline Wax/Polish.)

We anglos have to stick together! :p

It is a Melon Tester (a.k.a.Toad Sticker) Rough Rider pattern RR1203. It has blue/black swirl scales, a 5 3/8" handle and a 4 1/4" narrow, tapered 440 blade.

It should be a "peach." ;)

Weeks and weeks of mulling "present desire" and "overall need" to drop a new slippie in the pocket - an 030 CV Peanut is on the way for me also. It's all about want not need, who am I kidding? Not that I'm joining one of them cults or anything  as I always have 2-3 choices in pocket for tasks and such. If an affordable carbon steel yellow bone/delrin mini canoe/CV Butterbean was able to be located it would be en route instead. I now have to begin again for the only half full Sodbuster coin jar ;) Sometimes being "sorta picky" isn't a virtue.
