Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Jake that is a beauty.

Frank - I hope yours has that balance of chestnut and yellow you're looking for sir. As a stockman fan I am always tempted to grab another.

Finally pulled the trigger on a Northwoods Willamette Whittler, debated between handle materials for a week - finally went for Cocobolo!

Now the endless and obsessive reloading of the USPS tracking page...

can't wait!

TC Barlows, spey blade and the spey with pen behind, evergreen "pick" bone. Not sure what the real definition of "pick bone" is... Can anyone tell me how it is different from regular ol' jigged bone?

They have some nice pictures up at GEC's site. The pick bone of this run is not identical to the pick bone on other runs, even on the recent 38s (the new whittler pattern, don't remember the number exactly)

So, I just paid for my TC New Day Spey/Pen in African Blackwood. Don't think I could be much more excited.

I've got two New Day TC Barlows, African Blackwood and an Evergreen pick bone on order, both just the Spey. I'd originally planned on just one - that didn't happen.

I've been hoping to get my hands on a single spey TC barlow for a long time now and was lucky enough to get an order in for one of each :D

Jumped on a #15 beer knife tonight in that gorgeous sun bright yellow. Just couldn't help myself. I'm really partial to that sunbrite acrylic.

I jumped on the list for a red saw cut bone Soda Scout this morning. The TC Barlow configuration on this run didn't wow me, so I decided to go with the scout. I am still kicking around the the next 77 Barlow run, maybe.

It's possible this order didn't go through (they were gone on KSF in 30 seconds or so)...but I am hoping!

You're not alone there. I think I got a single spey with the evergreen pick bone. Also waiting on a Willamet Whittler. When it rains it pours :)

Actually just picked up a whittler off the exchange and my TC Barlow should be on it's way to me soon as well from CK. Not a 'on order' but I got a Bret Dowell secondhand last week and sent it in for a 'spa treatment'. Bret is a top notch guy and I can't wait to see it come back. 3 knives = Christmas.

You need a 77 .

Harry

I scored a TC in African Blackwood, hopefully. Initially I did not like the spey, but the more I think of it, the more useful it seems to be. Let's see.

TC Barlow single spey copperhead is on the way, to be followed by a micarta Soda Scout before too long.
