Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Hello! I am waiting impaitently my new Boeker Beer Barrel Wood Whittler with leather sheath. Looking forward for geting in classic knives.

Placed the order this morning for this CSC Smooth oiled Rams Horn Single Spring Muskrat this morning. Hard one to find these days. With all the talk of the forthcoming Forum Knife and the difficulty in a democracy to get exactly what you want I had to have this one. Plan is to turn the second clip into a nice longish coping secondary.




Theoretically, once the mod is done, my search for the perfect knife will be complete... theoretically. 😀

Looks like you could do either your coping blade if you went down at an angle right in front of the nail nick, but you could also go with a longer curve and end right where the belly starts and have a sweet looking Wharncliffe instead, if you were so inclined and mechanically gifted.

Yes there's plenty of straight edge there to do either. My first thought was to make a shorter secondary for more controlled scoring type cuts and to have a handy blade in situations where I'd rather be discrete. I suppose I could start with a long wharncliffe ala the haw baker special and choke up (grind down) if I so choose.

Yea its 3.25" closed. Thanks, I was looking for a Zulu and when I saw this one I had to have it.
 
Nice score Todd, beautiful menefee. Really like the zulu spear/almost curved wharnie appearance of it.
