Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

After voting for the 2015 traditional forum knife my interest in single spring 'moose' patterns was tweaked. While waiting for the forum knife to move through production I picked up a GEC 68 White Owl. It turns out that I quite enjoy carrying the slim little knife.
Then, thanks to moving preparations, KSF was clearing out some old dusty corners and posting up a few 'found' knives that have been out-of-stock for some time.
I took that opportunity to pick-up a Northwoods Mini-Moose. Now I'm just waiting on the Post.
Impatiently, I might add.

Nice find, I just read that they are convex ground and sharpened by Bark River Knives. Neat.

I also just ordered my first Northwoods from ksf, a norfolk whittler to keep in my pocket:

Very nice shimo, I've been wanting one of those. I let one pass me up on the exchange in ivory for almost nothing, I'm a fool.

Shimo, I have been curious about this pattern for sometime. Let us know what you think when it arrives, especially how you would rate the pull on each blade.

Thanks and congrats on a beauty.

Brett I had a Norfolk 2 blade single-spring and the pull was very light on it, some snap mind. The 3 blades could of course be entirely different.

Regards, Will

Thats one of those queen made case classics right? Looks like they are going for pretty affordable prices on the big auction site, I just missed out on a couple becuase of some pesky snipers! Never handled one before...

If they did, Queen did a good job on them! I have a Case Brothers Moose in Rogers Bone as well...

Queen makes those Black Box Winchesters as well!

ohhhh, thats some very fine stag!

Thanks my man!

I feel extremely fortunate for scoring it. They're tough to find and I would've taken pretty much any example I could get my hands on.

The first dude that wants to sell has that one. Maybe it was me cashing in on some good karma! =P

That's one of the finest examples of that knife I've seen. You are quite fortunate indeed.

Congrats.

Thanks my friend!

It was quite the week and I thank you again for graciously moving along the chestnut 77 to me. It's been an absolute joy to carry and its starting to get some patina =)

Northwoods clip point Hawthorne in elephant ivory...a one-day early surprise from KSF!

Tried to capture the depth of the ivory, but very difficult to do. Beautiful! Yet still on the hunt for an ever elusive single blade Madison

Thank you for buying that one, I almost did as a total impulse.

Gorgeous piece, enjoy!

It was a knee-jerk purchase for me too. But I'm glad I grabbed it in that short amount of time they were actually available. Just wish I could find a Madison in elephant or mammoth! That's my ultimate goal.

just won a GEC 48 on ebay, but i think i might have been the victim of shill bidding, it sat at 74 up to 30 minutes countdown. 10 minutes left, jumps up to 107.50 same person too...
