Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

It's possible out somebody just put 107 as their max they wanted to pay. I often don't bid on items until the last minute. For instance, item at 70, last minute, I'm willing to pay 103.99, I always put in weird amounts like this and then let the auto bid do it's thing. Sometimes you gotta wonder though.

they raised by 1-2 dollar increments. i had to put in 117.50 to make sure. i only suspected it because the same account did the same to a gec 15 i was looking at. and the seller sold 7 GEC knives this week. but i couldnt check the others cause they had ended

I would have PM'd about this but couldn't. just a small FYI. The mods (and most members of the forum) don't consider talking about auction pricing and bidding technique as something for the public forums. You might want to take it offline in emails or PMs. EBay isn't a sponsor here.
Typically we try to keep the discussion here about the knives themselves, not how we get them.

GEC 83 sambar satin clip point. This will be my first stag. I searched till I found the fattest one. The 83 is a fairly small knife (a bit longer than SAK cadet) so I thought fat stag might be the way to go. We will see..

Wow, that stag is great. Some of the best I've seen outside of custom slippies.

Please (don't) tell me it's going to be appaloosa...?

A great knife, no matter what the covers.

An L.T. Wright Patriot and KSF Pocono leather pocket sheath. Thanks to ~P for sage consultation!

I knows what I likes, and I love my Patriot. I'm eager to hear what you think once yours arrives.

Speaking of which, I have a, er, coupla more L.T. Wrights heading my way as well, because I couldn't make up my mind. :o

All of which is to forestall the growing awful notion that I may have terminally mislaid my Strix.

Hurrah! You found one. :)

Broke down and finally purchased one of these. Not normally my type of knife but something about it just intrigues me.

I've been carrying mine for the better part of this week. I really enjoy the primary blade for medium tasks and the small blade for light tasks.

I just ordered a large AG Russell Sowbelly Trapper with wharncliffe and clip blades. Haven't ordered any of his imported knives (made in China) and I wanted to check this one out. As many know, this is the size of slippie that I like at 4.25" closed length. It may become an edc blade for me as I like the wharncliffe second blade.

Don't mean to quote myself, but I wanted to link this post with the last. Got that knife today. Some observations on the chinese made AG Russell Sowbelly Trapper. The fit and finish is excellent. It's a pretty knife. No blade wiggle. Blades are more or less centered closed. The cocobolo scales are really nice. The spring strength is low, but typical of some of the chinese slippies. I'd rank it a 4 (weaker than regular Vic SAK Adventurer). So, someone who has trouble opening a slip joint will have no problem with this one. It is a big folder. You have to handle it to appreciate the size at 4.25" closed length. It feels larger than 4.25". Both blades are razor sharp. No complaints. We'll see how the 8Cr13Mov does in terms of holding an edge.

On the negative side, I was not impressed with the shipping times using AG's free shipping option. But it made little difference in the long run. I'm just used to getting a knife within a week tops and usually quicker.

used queen slim trapper. just opened the box and cut my thumb testing out how sharp it was. ebay seller was not kidding. has been sharpened :p

gec 48 in maroon linen micarta, gec beer scout, 2 gec 15s, spear and sheepsfoot. hooked  and a queen slimline is coming in. had to return the queen coke bottle, need some money :grumpy:
