Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Finally caved in on this one. I wanted good stag, an Ohta sure fits the bill...

I hate to see it go Evan but I'm glad it's going to someone who truly wanted it. It should fit the bill. Charles took some great pictures of that knife and believe it or not, I just about looks like that in person. That stag has such depth and color range. I'll keep the pictures of it so when I'm an old man I can brag that I once owned it!

GEC Tidioute #83 Jigged Purple Sage, Satin Drop Point. It's all the fault of Darn Enablers and Teasers in another Thread.

:devilish: Order declined by CC, don't have the time now to mess with CC Co. Couldn't just delete post.

Reordered and shipped. Tracking shows in Indy already, so should have Tuesday. :eagerness:

Looks like a nice one, Evan! The WT is one of my favorite patterns. I look forward to hearing your thoughts after you receive it.

Your collection is growing strong Evan, definitely all amazing knives out of your three~ A custom and beautiful stag to boot.

Thanks my man! I definitely owe you for bringing it to my attention again. I sure looked at it long enough, all it took was one final nudge!

Thank you for letting it go at a fair price and making it a seamless transaction. I've bought and sold a ton of knives over the years and the traditional crowd has certainly been the most pleasant to deal with.

I'll be sure to take care of her for you!

Enjoy your trip my friend, have fun!

I just fell in love with the stag on this one and the clip/wharnie combo is also one of my favorites. His execution of both blades is beautiful.

I actually read a bunch of previous posts when I started getting serious about acquiring it. Many of which were yours and they played a big part in me pulling the trigger. I haven't been around here long but your contributions to this forum were quickly apparent.

I'll be sure to let you know what I think when I have it in hand!

Have a great labor day weekend all! Have fun and be smart!

Haven't placed a order yet but probably going to pick up a opinel and a mora off of ebay. Less then $20 for these two knives shipped seems like very good bang for the buck.

Chief(John) took the those photos. Not a big deal, but I'm sure Charles wouldn't want to take credit for Johns work. :)

Got me another Boker plus stockman coming soon. This time in yellow.

Not an order for a new or used knife but Glenn is working on a conversion for me (I hope!) and I'm eager to see the outcome.

Evan , all Ohta knives I've seen and the one I own are really satisfying, elite stag with peerless finish too.

Thanks, Will

just won a GEC 48 on ebay, but i think i might have been the victim of shill bidding, it sat at 74 up to 30 minutes countdown. 10 minutes left, jumps up to 107.50 same person too...
It's possible out somebody just put 107 as their max they wanted to pay. I often don't bid on items until the last minute. For instance, item at 70, last minute, I'm willing to pay 103.99, I always put in weird amounts like this and then let the auto bid do it's thing. Sometimes you gotta wonder though.

Thanks Will!

I'm sure it won't disappoint, looks like its a fine example of his work. Can't wait to get it and throw it in my pocket!

Maybe it is a software that helps bidding automatically at the last second. One never will know!
