Took the plunge. Been thinking of Opinels off and on. Was in another city and checked a woodworking supply where I had seen them several years back, but didn't pay them ant mind then. They don't stock now, but directed me to another business that supposedly sold them, but they don't stock in store now (only #8 SS when they did). After returning home, ended up looking at them and ended up pulling the trigger on (1 each) #6,#8,#10 & #12 Carbons. Now the waiting game. Any luck will be here Saturday or next Wednesday at the latest.

61st birthday is next week. Ordered 3 Rough Riders (3 blade 'Stroke of Luck' stockman, 'Old Yellow' 6 blade stockman, Half Hawk with pen secondary, yellow handle) and a Chinese no name all stainless US stamped on the mark side cover hawkbill.
Under $0.03 for every year I've been on this rock. I'm probably not worth that $0.03 a year, but oh well. Had a good week at work, and decided to splurge for my birthday this year.
