This is really nice! Finally got a chance to check out some Pena knives at a show this weekend and I was not disappointed! He builds a stellar knife and I really like this pattern.
 
Just ordered a Northfield 18 in African Blackwood.
 
After taking a hard left turn down Sodbuster Street, I snagged #71 Bullnose in O1, and a Queen Country Cousin when I read knarfeng's allusions to the little known truth that the "D" in "D2" might just stand for delightful.
 
Got another Schrade Walden 8OT off the web it in great shape other than some previous owner took a demeral tool and engraved their name into the Derin scales. So it will go into the daily rotation today.

Right now I have three Opinels coming: no. 6 in stainless for my grandson, plus one in carbon for me, and a No.8 garden knife.
 
and a burgundy 48 slim blade, and a 65 spear proto both northfields, should be fun, all from the same bay seller. hopefully they ship soon
 
Sending final payment today for a Menefee Zulu. 154CM, antique ivory micarta shadow with a federal shield. CPM154 and 154CM are my favorite blade steels.

Brent Cramer is almost finished a gunstock trapper for me.

Tracy Larock is going to make a peanut for me.

Depending on what Scott has available, I'd like to get a Gossman this year. If Scott takes orders, a golok is number one on my list.

I have some others down the track, as our siblings down under say. I need to get back to Keith Johnson, but this year I've gone over my knife budget, by a lot. I have no plans for any production knives this year unless I come across a Case Bose 2010 stag Tribal Spear.

I hope my tax return comes through soon, because I am getting the front end done on my Silverado, need to get new tires for her, plan on getting an iPad and need to pay for my summer vacation.

No BBQ this year (:))...
 
Just bought me one of the little Rough Rider 3 blade Whittlers.

Seen it here in the forums and thought I'd like to check one out for myself.

I picked up a Rough Rider Muskrat in purple smooth bone for the girlfriend about 4 years ago and I was surprised by the fit and finish. Just ordered a Half Hawk in black jigged bone in their ''Coal Miner series'' It looks like a very sturdy little beater. Anyone have one of these RR Half Hawks?
 
Welcome to the GEC fan club my friend! They really are the finest traditional knives out there IMO. I think they make Case look like Taiwan flea market stuff.:thumbup:
 
Ordered an 11cm Laguiole from Renaud Aubry last week. Shadow (bolsterless) Ebony, special pins and filework, white spacers, polished Sandvik. Should take about 2-3 weeks. Can't wait, as usual!
