Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I just received my order from Andi... a Red k55K Cat Folder!
Thank you Andi!

I've had my eye on a particular Case Wharncliffe mini-trapper for a few months now. It's been sitting on one of the back screens at Collectorknives.net * for a while. Finally hit the top of my want list this week.

*(Not to worry. I didn't slip. Mike has a BF dealer membership, so I can freely mention his site. )

Sweet, those are nice knives. Got the green Apple myself, you're going to like it Frank:

GEC Ez Open # 85 Burnt Stag and German army surplus sailors knife with Marli spike. I've always wanted traditional sailor's knife, never found one in reasonable price... till now :D

You won't be disappointed by that 85 EZ-Open in stag, mine is amongst my best knives.

CASE Wharncliffe Mini Trapper in Sour Apple offers great fit&finish and usefulness. The jigging on this bone and the diamond shield look excellent, the colour takes a bit of getting used to....but then, so does GEC Kryptonite....:D:D

Would like to order some more knives but other expenses loom:(

Regards, Will

Two(!) came today, one that's been on back order for months and the other I stumbled across by accident. My Case Mid-Folding Hunter in Bermuda Green came fast after shipping Thursday, and a 2008 BFTraditional Forum Northwoods Stag stockman arrived too, thought it had gotten lost, whew. Pics to follow, I finally just got one (lousy) picture of my GEC Barlow:

After reading all the threads around here singing the praises of the peanut, I gave in and ordered one this morning. Red bone CV peanut on the way.

Finaly caved to another two GEC's today. The forum knife and the 62 courthouse in spring green. Already hunting for a good piece of wood.

Northwoods Mini Moose in cocobolo, BF 2012 Traditional Forum wharncliffe trapper preorder, and still waiting on my Boker Congress to ship. Have two other (non-trad) on preorder too including the BF 2012 Skyline.

No more until the GEC Outlaw Jack is ready!

Well.... I got 3 RR, one Case, one Schrade 34OT, the 2012 forum knife, and a Boker Plus Barlow. None of these has come yet.

Plus a folding knife from a very sought after maker. I just calculated what I spent on knives this month.... 950$. :redface

Well that was it for this year... oh wait, the GEC Outlaw Jack? I "need" that one as well, and I`m getting into Congress knives. Yeah... it never... ends.

I just ordered the 2012 GEC BF trapper today, on Friday a Case peanut and Opinel No. 8. I think I am done buying for the month of July...

The Case 6232 from KeyeEl's ad is on the way to me as of today.

Edited to say I also fell under the sway of the TOTM, and just purchased an old bone handled Böker Tree Brand barlow. This place is dangerous!

as of this morning, a puukko with full birch bark handles from Pasi Hurttila. Should be done in mid to late August. Gonna be a long summer ...

My sodbuster has been getting quite a bit of pocket time here lately. I really like this pattern, so I decided to give another one a shot. An Orange GEC Bullnose Work Knife should be here in a few days. :D

It'll be worth the wait, I received mine a couple of weeks ago and have been finding excuses wherever possible to to 'play' in the woods. Pasi makes a knife which isn't so fancy you are afraid to use it yet his craftsmanship is top notch.

Sorry if I'm diverting the thread a little but I thought you'd like to see these images of the knife from above, they show how he nicely tapers the rhomboid blade to combine strength with versatility.

The birch bark handle is a sensory treat too:)
