Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Patiently waiting on an ebony Missouri trader and a mammoth ivory 79

You're a better man than me, Mike.

I have one out for repair that should be arriving within the next couple weeks, and one I just purchased from the exchange.

I would not describe my waiting with the word "patiently." I want them to be here today!

Thanks Doug, but I wouldn't say better, just a needier man!
I almost hate to ask, but what did your 79 need service for?

Sorry for the confusion. I meant that "one" to refer to a knife, not the 79 specifically.

It is an old Colonial barlow that is being rescaled and the pen blade reshaped to wharncliffe.

In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, my wife bought me a Northfield Burned Stag Trapper, which is my first 'real' pocket knife since I was 8 years old. In addition, this knife marks a new direction in my collecting, from full size folders to traditional folders. I am really excited waiting for this one to arrive!

I have a taylor schrade coming from JDRacing for parts. I want the scales.

I have a GEC Cattle stockman coming next week, it'll be my first knife w/ a punch.

Last night I won a 1975 Case 6235 1/2 "Swell End Jack," unused. It seems like a beauty, but I have never held one in my hands. We'll see ...

Doug, I am not sure. I hope so. The advertisement said "1975." But they also said Delrin handle. None of the pictures showed the number of dots on the tang. The seller had a 100% rating and I got it at a good price, so I took my chances.

Either way it will be a good one. I have a 1978 6344 stockman in delrin that is a delight to use.

I have been doing more research online this morning and looking at the pictures of my knife. Despite there being red coloring around the edges, it looks like it is definitely a delrin handled jack. Either way, I am really excited about this knife. The Bladeforums 2011 knife carries surprisingly well in my pocket and this looks to be about the same size.

Hmmm.. Gotta be a SBJ, or maybe a mini copperhead?

Nope, good guesses but I already have an SBJ, and a mini Copperhead in olive bone with BSA shield. This is a little more special, I never would have heard of it outside this forum :D

That's one of my favorites, zippofan. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

...I've got two more oldies on the way.

Also, I think the GEC conductor is waiting for me at the post office. Looks like the race is over, Andi. ;)
