Ordered a 92 with brass Friday. Should have also ordered a steel to go with it, but didn't think I wanted steel, then the more I've read this stuff......just went looking, found and ordered a steel at another dealer I don't know if I can mention here.

Edit : Just checked and it's Gunstock Jack I was referring to. But this am the stl is showing OOS and the brass liner still available

Wow! That's gorgeous. I already decided I that I'm going to get the OD green canvas #72 when it comes out, but that one is just awesome.

I know what you mean. I've been on a lockback kick lately. Just within the last 6 weeks I've ended up with 3 Mountain Man 3Ls, two GEC #42s, and I have a Case Mini Copperlock coming on Thursday.
 
I got a China Buck going back to Idaho Proud pins,and a very gritty blade that would not work smooth with even a hot water cleaning and oil bath.
 
Ordered the 72 Grizzly cut bone. Saw it on the GEC web page cover a few weeks ago and knew I'd have to have one. Have a 83 , but it's just a bit too small for my tastes. Think the 72 will hit the sweet spot.

I was fortunate to see the grizzly-cut #72s in production at GEC, and they really stood out-- the pattern itself is of great size and proportion, and this particular cover really suits it well. Just, a stand-out.
