Beautiful stag there, CBR. I have to agree: GEC has been batting 1000 with the quality of their natural stag lately.

I had that one in my basket more than a few times. :eek::D. I have hit the end of my yearly knife allowance so just couldn't do it. However, if this had been the natural stag serialized #10 I would have sold a gun to get it. :eek::D

Congrats on that beauty! Certainly some wonderful stag. One of the best ones I saw released. :thumbup:

lol, I'm guessing everyone is a bit tapped out. It's been a good year for GEC products.. and we still have the forum knife, beer scouts, 77 barlow coming up. Thanks for passing this one along to me - my wallet hates you :grumpy:

I'm afraid of what might come up after those you listed that we don't know about yet. Part of me hopes its something awful that I have no interest in. :D
 
Well, I did it. I finally ordered two knives that I have wanted since first seeing them. I received a graduation gift combined with an early birthday gift from my grandparents over the weekend. My wife decided to give me an early birthday gift as well. I had to come up with a little more to cover it, but I picked out a couple from this maker.

2012 Schatt & Morgan Heritage Cattleman with Ebony covers. I know there were some quality issues with these. I've read about the issues and I used to own the same model that I just bought. It had those issues too but oddly, I miss that knife despite its flaws.

A GEC Boys Knife. I recently received a Case Mini-trapper with cap lifter and was considering cancelling my reserve for the Boys Knife but decided to continue to support the dealer who is offering the Boys Knife.
 
Just landed an old splitback whittler.
Utica in Great condition, no cracks or chips in bone either.

Beautiful whittler NJBILLK congratulations :thumbup: I already had one on order but now I was lucky enough to score both the Raguler Blade Forum knife & The C.C. SFO #35 as well. Cant wait to see witch one I like the best. I'll probably sell the other unless there just too cool to part with :D:D
