Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

most amusing, charlie's sfo is going to arrive before i even get the 2016 bladeforums knife.

One too many times seeing the new forum knife and POOF just had to order one a little bit ago...........:o

I accidentally won an auction for an Enderes single blade bare head Jack knife. Hopefully, I get out bid for the other 2 auctions I'm leading. I thought for sure my bids were low-ball. Apparently not, so far.

I couldn't resist and picked up a 4 blade Gutmann Hen & Rooster congress in some nice butter colored stag from AGR. I have a small two blade Congress of theirs in pearl but it is mint and I can't bear to use it.

This one comes with a bit of patina and a bit more user friendly at 3 13/16 long so in the pocket it will go.

For reasons I shan't go into here, at this time of year our family buy each other gifts. My wife is buying me (well, kinda sorta, since I actually bought it) a Case mini copperhead in sawcut crimson bone, the Wharncliffe version.

What a coincidence! My wife just ordered me a Queen #26 & a #49 for my birthday at the end of this month.

I haven't decided what she's going to get me for Christmas yet, but it won't be like last year. Last Christmas my wife bought "us" a Vitamix blender.:)

1 15, 1 modified 54, 1 48 single blade in stag and that 2016 lol

Case Hawkbill Pruner and a Northfield 72 Violet Pioneer Bone are both in the mail .

Harry

Ok Harry you know I have to see the Pruner:o:) and another Violet? That makes 3? I know there's a love/hate with the color, I happen to like the dark ones I've seen. I think they're a very unique color:thumbup:

I have a BEAUTIFUL Nowill Sheffield Pruner in transit circa 1836-1880 and a Voos jack:thumbup:

S&M Gunstock in stag and a Queen Ruple trapper in buffalo horn. I have a Northwoods Railsplitter waiting in California to be delivered to me at Christmas. The seller wouldn't ship to Canada so I had him ship it to family in CA.

The Case Pruner will be gifted to a Daughter for her gardening chores. I bought a very cheap pruner last year for her to try out the pattern. Now she wants a better grade pruner. Thought that I should get her some stainless.
Yep !!!! This will be my THIRD PURPLE 72 . Another of my Daughters asked for a Purple Knife for Christmas ./// One my Grandsons saw mine , and he wants one for Christmas .
I will post pictures after they get here. Probably will post a picture of the 3 PURPLES together. Who would have believed that one guy would have bought 3 of them ????

Am anxious to see photos of your old Pruner too my friend. Now the VOOS : I saw one in a flea market about 6 weeks ago . First ever , but the handles were badly cracked or I would have bought it. Once you post photos of yours , that will most likely be the 3rd one that I have seen.

Take care my friend !! It is gonna get colder soon !!!

Harry,

That's kind of the way I am. If I do something, I do it right. :) Well, mostly - my first marriage didn't go as planned, but my wife now is the love of my life! ;)
