Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

While waiting for the GEC #78 I ordered another knife I have wanted for a while. It's in the post and should be mine in a couple of days. Otter slip joint with bone handle and 90 mm carbon steel blade.

I have three Bullnoses on early reserve.
An orange delrin and od green micarta to give to my sons, and a natural micarta for me.

I thought all of the maple burl Vipers were "standby" only? Something about an unsure quantity or something. I have a standby for that one as well, put in fairly early. I hope we get them, I love burls.

Ordered a 1990 remington 1306 silver bullet. looked nice, jigged bone not derlin. Folks please tell me i wont be sorry.....hoping its tightly put together

This came fast. Not my picture yet, but looks the same. I can't find major flaws, the edge is fine, no gaps in the handle. Centering when closed is just a bit off, but does not rub, you have to look closely to see it. The action is smooth and has a nice firm pull. So I'm happy I bought this.

The handle is actually very comfy, one of better ones I have. Simple, stylish shape and the brushed "bamboo" bolster is a nice touch.

Should have a '90 remington 1306SB by weeks end and just ordered a bowen R1306B. Always wanted a bullet knife even if it is a reproduction.. anybody have any of these? Hoping they are decent. Pictures look good!

The Remington reproduction knives are made by Cammilus and in general are decent knives. However, I've seen it and been told that this particular pattern is prone to cracking at the lanyard tube hole. I believe this is mostly with the delrin version of the knife.

Rick, I'm not familiar with the CM series. It says AGRussell over Sprningdale, ARK. This is the stainless version. It was also available in brass. I've always liked it, especially the brass. I got lucky with a bid, so now it's mine.
