Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Alan, is that dyed curly maple? Gorgeous looking knife. I love a shadow pattern when the handle materials are exceptional! What's the closed length?

I managed to get lucky and snag a #46 whaler a few minutes before they sold out. I'm really excited for the ironwood as it'll be my first!

Just about to pop across the border from our summer place into the US. Seems that the local sporting goods store has a bunch of Case knives.

I guess that qualifies for this thread as I highly doubt I will return knife-less.

Sorry I missed your post Shawn. It is 100mm (3.93") closed and the description is just stabilized wood. This is a screenshot from the website.

I've been carrying my late 70s Buck 501 quite a bit lately... It's such a well made knife with the micarta and rock hard 440c. I've been wanting a 503 of the same vintage for a while but hadn't been able to score a good one.

I just nabbed this guy for less than a new one, looks like it's just been sitting in the box for 40 years, waiting to go into my pocketses. Very excited to get it Monday!

The last year or so I've seen @molletta post knives by Enigma on the exchange. They piqued my interest enough to check out the website. There I saw some psychedelic colors on a slim single blade knife. Of course none were available. Like a cat stalking its prey I watched.....I waited..... And last week they announced a new series would drop this morning. So like any knife knut I set my alarm and boom this is now on its way from Poland.

Beautiful choice! I've noted these and the green is outstanding:cool: Looking forward to your impressions.

Thanks, Will

I just pulled the trigger on this sweet looking Shatt & Morgan Easy Open Jack. The seller had it listed as being Vintage but he wasn't sure of the year. Being a Queen knife I know the time it was made can make a big difference in QC but I wasn't very concerned I've bought from him before and his knives are always as described or better. If anyone can help me narrow down the year this one was made I'd really appreciate it. Thanks 1527099230_51_1-228x228.jpg

Found an interesting design. It's a "butter bean" made in Japan for Taylor Cutlery. Vendor says it was made in 1981. Looks to be a sheepsfoot blade in combination with a traditional spear point. It's the blade combination that intrigues me, though I must admit the stag looks very nice. Supposed to be roughly 3" closed. "surgical steel". Oh well. If I can get fair dinkum service out of Tru-Sharp, I should do OK with this.
Here's a vendor pic...

Just ordered a 15 spear in the yellow jigged bone.
Kinda wish they were doing these in nifebright but this is nice too.
