Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I have been looking at these for over a year and finally gave in. Case XX 80033 Yellow Mini Trapper With Caplifter:

Manny Saldana is building a diamond edge cattle knife. The build isn't complete but I couldn't resist claiming it.

Meanwhile, I hunted up this thread because I have a Case Swayback Jack in Red barnboard crimson bone and Tru-Sharp on the way. I have one in CV. It is one of the best made knives I own. I have hopes that this one comes close to it in terms of fit and finish.

Need a better shot of the tang stamp. As I understand it, dating a Camillus by the tang stamp is all in the details. Periods, length of the underline, whether all caps, whether in Itallics.

Oh ok I'll read that now thank you very much. The funny thing is that's were I bought the knife in the first place lol. Also the knife made it to Canada Friday so I should have it in hand this week to take some better photos. ✌

Sounds like a nice knife Frank you'll have to post some shots when it arrives. :)

I have a Queen Cutlery, Schatt and Morgan Mini Barlow (#67?) with buffalo horn scales and scrolled brass liners that I can't seem to find a lick of information about. The blade says 1 of 40... But I have yet to find a picture of one of the other 39. :/

Maybe one of you will have some insight!

Please excuse the poor pictures, they're from the seller's listing as I won't have the knife in hand until tomorrow.

Search for Queen Cutlery "Tadpoles".

Ah yea, I should have clarified... I've been able to find the Mini/Gentleman Barlow, I just wasn't able to find a buffalo scale version. The S&M came in today though and it looks like the seller just had the scale material listed incorrectly. The knife is labeled as having "Black Pen Pearl" scales. That helped me find a bit more info, but not much.

I completely underestimated how small this thing would be! It's adorable, lol.
